1A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. O LORD, how my adversaries have increased! Many are rising up against me.

2Many are saying of my soul, 'There is no deliverance for him in God.' Selah.

3But You, O LORD, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head.

4I was crying to the LORD with my voice, And He answered me from His holy mountain. Selah.
4我用我的聲音求告耶和華，他就從他的聖山上應允我。（細拉）
5I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the LORD sustains me.
5我躺下睡覺，我醒著，耶和華都保佑我。
6I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have set themselves against me round about.
6雖有成萬的百姓來周圍攻擊我，我也不怕。
7Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God! For You have smitten all my enemies on the cheek; You have shattered the teeth of the wicked.
7耶和華啊，求你起來！我的神啊，求你救我！因為你打了我一切仇敵的腮骨，敲碎了惡人的牙齒。
8Salvation belongs to the LORD; Your blessing [be] upon Your people! Selah.
