1Now the Passover and Unleavened Bread were two days away; and the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to seize Him by stealth and kill [Him];
1過兩天是逾越節，又是除酵節，祭司長和文士想法子怎麼用詭計捉拿耶穌，殺他。
2for they were saying, 'Not during the festival, otherwise there might be a riot of the people.'
2只是說：當節的日子不可，恐怕百姓生亂。
3While He was in Bethany at the home of Simon the leper, and reclining [at the table], there came a woman with an alabaster vial of very costly perfume of pure nard; [and] she broke the vial and poured it over His head.
3耶穌在伯大尼長大痲瘋的西門家裡坐席的時候，有一個女人拿著一玉瓶至貴的真哪噠香膏來，打破玉瓶，把膏澆在耶穌的頭上。
4But some were indignantly [remarking] to one another, 'Why has this perfume been wasted?
4有幾個人心中很不喜悅，說：何用這樣枉費香膏呢？
5'For this perfume might have been sold for over three hundred denarii, and [the money] given to the poor.' And they were scolding her.
5這香膏可以賣三十多兩銀子賙濟窮人。他們就向那女人生氣。
6But Jesus said, 'Let her alone; why do you bother her? She has done a good deed to Me.
6耶穌說：由他罷！為甚麼難為他呢？他在我身上作的是一件美事。
7'For you always have the poor with you, and whenever you wish you can do good to them; but you do not always have Me.
7因為常有窮人和你們同在，要向他們行善隨時都可以；只是你們不常有我。
8'She has done what she could; she has anointed My body beforehand for the burial.
8他所作的，是盡他所能的；他是為我安葬的事把香膏預先澆在我身上。
9'Truly I say to you, wherever the gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be spoken of in memory of her.'
9我實在告訴你們，普天之下，無論在甚麼地方傳這福音，也要述說這女人所作的，以為記念。
10Then Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve, went off to the chief priests in order to betray Him to them.
10十二門徒之中，有一個加略人猶大去見祭司長，要把耶穌交給他們。
11They were glad when they heard [this], and promised to give him money. And he [began] seeking how to betray Him at an opportune time.
11他們聽見就歡喜，又應許給他銀子；他就尋思如何得便把耶穌交給他們。
12On the first day of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover [lamb] was being sacrificed, His disciples said to Him, 'Where do You want us to go and prepare for You to eat the Passover?'
12除酵節的第一天，就是宰逾越羊羔的那一天，門徒對耶穌說：你吃逾越節的筵席要我們往那裡去預備呢？
13And He sent two of His disciples and said to them, 'Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him;
13耶穌就打發兩個門徒，對他們說：你們進城去，必有人拿著一瓶水迎面而來，你們就跟著他。
14and wherever he enters, say to the owner of the house, 'The Teacher says, 'Where is My guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?''
14他進那家去，你們就對那家的主人說：夫子說：客房在那裡？我與門徒好在那裡吃逾越節的筵席。
15'And he himself will show you a large upper room furnished [and] ready; prepare for us there.'
15他必指給你們擺設整齊的一間大樓，你們就在那裡為我們預備。
16The disciples went out and came to the city, and found [it] just as He had told them; and they prepared the Passover.
16門徒出去，進了城，所遇見的正如耶穌所說的。他們就預備了逾越節的筵席。
17When it was evening He came with the twelve.
17到了晚上，耶穌和十二個門徒都來了。
18As they were reclining [at the table] and eating, Jesus said, 'Truly I say to you that one of you will betray Me-- one who is eating with Me.'
18他們坐席正吃的時候，耶穌說：我實在告訴你們，你們中間有一個與我同吃的人要賣我了。
19They began to be grieved and to say to Him one by one, 'Surely not I?'
19他們就憂愁起來，一個一個的問他說：是我麼？
20And He said to them, '[It is] one of the twelve, one who dips with Me in the bowl.
20耶穌對他們說：是十二個門徒中同我蘸手在盤子裡的那個人。
21'For the Son of Man [is to] go just as it is written of Him; but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! [It would have been] good for that man if he had not been born.'
21人子必要去世，正如經上指著他所寫的；但賣人子的人有禍了！那人不生在世上倒好。
22While they were eating, He took [some] bread, and after a blessing He broke [it], and gave [it] to them, and said, 'Take [it]; this is My body.'
22他們吃的時候，耶穌拿起餅來，祝了福，就擘開，遞給他們，說：你們拿著吃，這是我的身體；
23And when He had taken a cup [and] given thanks, He gave [it] to them, and they all drank from it.
23又拿起杯來，祝謝了，遞給他們；他們都喝了。
24And He said to them, 'This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many.
24耶穌說：這是我立約的血，為多人流出來的。
25'Truly I say to you, I will never again drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.'
25我實在告訴你們，我不再喝這葡萄汁，直到我在神的國裡喝新的那日子。
26After singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
26他們唱了詩，就出來，往橄欖山去。
27And Jesus said to them, 'You will all fall away, because it is written, 'I WILL STRIKE DOWN THE SHEPHERD, AND THE SHEEP SHALL BE SCATTERED.'
27耶穌對他們說：你們都要跌倒了，因為經上記著說：我要擊打牧人，羊就分散了。
28'But after I have been raised, I will go ahead of you to Galilee.'
28但我復活以後，要在你們以先往加利利去。
29But Peter said to Him, '[Even] though all may fall away, yet I will not.'
29彼得說：眾人雖然跌倒，我總不能。
30And Jesus said to him, 'Truly I say to you, that this very night, before a rooster crows twice, you yourself will deny Me three times.'
30耶穌對他說：我實在告訴你，就在今天夜裡，雞叫兩遍以先，你要三次不認我。
31But [Peter] kept saying insistently, '[Even] if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!' And they all were saying the same thing also.
31彼得卻極力的說：我就是必須和你同死，也總不能不認你。眾門徒都是這樣說。
32They came to a place named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, 'Sit here until I have prayed.'
32他們來到一個地方，名叫客西馬尼。耶穌對門徒說：你們坐在這裡，等我禱告。
33And He took with Him Peter and James and John, and began to be very distressed and troubled.
33於是帶著彼得、雅各、約翰同去，就驚恐起來，極其難過，
34And He said to them, 'My soul is deeply grieved to the point of death; remain here and keep watch.'
34對他們說：我心裡甚是憂傷，幾乎要死；你們在這裡等候，儆醒。
35And He went a little beyond [them], and fell to the ground and [began] to pray that if it were possible, the hour might pass Him by.
35他就稍往前走，俯伏在地，禱告說：倘若可行，便叫那時候過去。
36And He was saying, 'Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will.'
36他說：阿爸！父阿！在你凡事都能；求你將這杯撤去。然而，不要從我的意思，只要從你的意思。
37And He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, 'Simon, are you asleep? Could you not keep watch for one hour?
37耶穌回來，見他們睡著了，就對彼得說：西門，你睡覺麼？不能儆醒片時麼？
38'Keep watching and praying that you may not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.'
38總要儆醒禱告，免得入了迷惑。你們心靈固然願意，肉體卻軟弱了。
39Again He went away and prayed, saying the same words.
39耶穌又去禱告，說的話還是與先前一樣，
40And again He came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy; and they did not know what to answer Him.
40又來見他們睡著了，因為他們的眼睛甚是困倦；他們也不知道怎麼回答。
41And He came the third time, and said to them, 'Are you still sleeping and resting? It is enough; the hour has come; behold, the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.
41第三次來，對他們說：現在你們仍然睡覺安歇罷（或作麼？）！夠了，時候到了。看哪，人子被賣在罪人手裡了。
42'Get up, let us be going; behold, the one who betrays Me is at hand!'
42起來！我們走罷。看哪，那賣我的人近了。
43Immediately while He was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, came up accompanied by a crowd with swords and clubs, [who were] from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.
43說話之間，忽然那十二個門徒裡的猶大來了，並有許多人帶著刀棒，從祭司長和文士並長老那裡與他同來。
44Now he who was betraying Him had given them a signal, saying, 'Whomever I kiss, He is the one; seize Him and lead Him away under guard.'
44賣耶穌的人曾給他們一個暗號，說：我與誰親嘴，誰就是他。你們把他拿住，牢牢靠靠的帶去。
45After coming, Judas immediately went to Him, saying, 'Rabbi!' and kissed Him.
45猶大來了，隨即到耶穌跟前，說：拉比，便與他親嘴。
46They laid hands on Him and seized Him.
46他們就下手拿住他。
47But one of those who stood by drew his sword, and struck the slave of the high priest and cut off his ear.
47旁邊站著的人，有一個拔出刀來，將大祭司的僕人砍了一刀，削掉了他一個耳朵。
48And Jesus said to them, 'Have you come out with swords and clubs to arrest Me, as [you would] against a robber?
48耶穌對他們說：你們帶著刀棒出來拿我，如同拿強盜麼？
49'Every day I was with you in the temple teaching, and you did not seize Me; but [this has] [taken place] to fulfill the Scriptures.'
49我天天教訓人，同你們在殿裡，你們並沒有拿我。但這事成就，為要應驗經上的話。
50And they all left Him and fled.
50門徒都離開他，逃走了。
51A young man was following Him, wearing [nothing but] a linen sheet over [his] naked [body]; and they seized him.
51有一個少年人，赤身披著一塊麻布，跟隨耶穌，眾人就捉拿他。
52But he pulled free of the linen sheet and escaped naked.
52他卻丟了麻布，赤身逃走了。
53They led Jesus away to the high priest; and all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes gathered together.
53他們把耶穌帶到大祭司那裡，又有眾祭司長和長老並文士都來和大祭司一同聚集。
54Peter had followed Him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest; and he was sitting with the officers and warming himself at the fire.
54彼得遠遠的跟著耶穌，一直進入大祭司的院裡，和差役一同坐在火光.裡烤火。
55Now the chief priests and the whole Council kept trying to obtain testimony against Jesus to put Him to death, and they were not finding any.
55祭司長和全公會尋找見證控告耶穌，要治死他，卻尋不著。
56For many were giving false testimony against Him, but their testimony was not consistent.
56因為有好些人作見證告他，只是他們的見證各不相合。
57Some stood up and [began] to give false testimony against Him, saying,
57又有幾個人站起來作假見證告他，說：
58'We heard Him say, 'I will destroy this temple made with hands, and in three days I will build another made without hands.''
58我們聽見他說：我要拆毀這人手所造的殿，三日內就另造一座不是人手所造的。
59Not even in this respect was their testimony consistent.
59他們就是這麼作見證，也是各不相合。
60The high priest stood up [and came] forward and questioned Jesus, saying, 'Do You not answer? What is it that these men are testifying against You?'
60大祭司起來站在中間，問耶穌說：你甚麼都不回答麼？這些人作見證告你?的是甚麼呢？
61But He kept silent and did not answer. Again the high priest was questioning Him, and saying to Him, 'Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed [One]?'
61耶穌卻不言語，一句也不回答。大祭司又問他說：你是那當稱頌者的兒子基督不是？
62And Jesus said, 'I am; and you shall see THE SON OF MAN SITTING AT THE RIGHT HAND OF POWER, and COMING WITH THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN.'
62耶穌說：我是。你們必看見人子坐在那權能者的右邊，駕著天上的雲降臨。
63Tearing his clothes, the high priest said, 'What further need do we have of witnesses?
63大祭司就撕開衣服，說：我們何必再用見證人呢？
64'You have heard the blasphemy; how does it seem to you?' And they all condemned Him to be deserving of death.
64你們已經聽見他這僭妄的話了。你們的意見如何？他們都定他該死的罪。
65Some began to spit at Him, and to blindfold Him, and to beat Him with their fists, and to say to Him, 'Prophesy!' And the officers received Him with slaps [in the face].
65就有人吐唾沫在他臉上，又蒙著他的臉，用拳頭打他，對他說：你說預言罷！差役接過他來，用手掌打他。
66As Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the servant-girls of the high priest came,
66彼得在下邊院子裡；來了大祭司的一個使女，
67and seeing Peter warming himself, she looked at him and said, 'You also were with Jesus the Nazarene.'
67見彼得烤火，就看著他，說：你素來也是同拿撒勒人耶穌一夥的。
68But he denied [it], saying, 'I neither know nor understand what you are talking about.' And he went out onto the porch, and a rooster crowed.
68彼得卻不承認，說：我不知道，也不明白你說的是甚麼。於是出來，到了前院，雞就叫了。
69The servant-girl saw him, and began once more to say to the bystanders, 'This is [one] of them!'
69那使女看見他，又對旁邊站著的人說：這也是他們一黨的。
70But again he denied it. And after a little while the bystanders were again saying to Peter, 'Surely you are [one] of them, for you are a Galilean too.'
70彼得又不承認。過了不多的時候，旁邊站著的人又對彼得說：你真是他們一黨的！因為你是加利利人。
71But he began to curse and swear, 'I do not know this man you are talking about!'
71彼得就發咒起誓的說：我不認得你們說的這個人。
72Immediately a rooster crowed a second time. And Peter remembered how Jesus had made the remark to him, 'Before a rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.' And he began to weep.
72立時雞叫了第二遍。彼得想起耶穌對他所說的話：雞叫兩遍以先，你要三次不認我。思想起來，就哭了。
