1In the year of King Uzziah's death I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple.
1當烏西雅王崩的那年，我見主坐在高高的寶座上。他的衣裳垂下，遮滿聖殿。
2Seraphim stood above Him, each having six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.
2其上有撒拉弗侍立，各有六個翅膀：用兩個翅膀遮臉，兩個翅膀遮腳，兩個翅膀飛翔；
3And one called out to another and said, 'Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts, The whole earth is full of His glory.'
3彼此呼喊說：聖哉！聖哉！聖哉！萬軍之耶和華；他的榮光充滿全地！
4And the foundations of the thresholds trembled at the voice of him who called out, while the temple was filling with smoke.
4因呼喊者的聲音，門檻的根基震動，殿充滿了煙雲。
5Then I said, 'Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I live among a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.'
5那時我說：禍哉！我滅亡了！因為我是嘴唇不潔的人，又住在嘴唇不潔的民中，又因我眼見大君王─萬軍之耶和華。
6Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal in his hand, which he had taken from the altar with tongs.
6有一撒拉弗飛到我跟前，手裡拿著紅炭，是用火剪從壇上取下來的，
7He touched my mouth [with it] and said, 'Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away and your sin is forgiven.'
7將炭沾我的口，說：看哪，這炭沾了你的嘴，你的罪孽便除掉，你的罪惡就赦免了。
8Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, 'Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?' Then I said, 'Here am I. Send me!'
8我又聽見主的聲音說：我可以差遣誰呢？誰肯為我們去呢？我說：我在這裡，請差遣我！
9He said, 'Go, and tell this people: 'Keep on listening, but do not perceive; Keep on looking, but do not understand.'
9他說：你去告訴這百姓說：你們聽是要聽見，卻不明白；看是要看見，卻不曉得。
10'Render the hearts of this people insensitive, Their ears dull, And their eyes dim, Otherwise they might see with their eyes, Hear with their ears, Understand with their hearts, And return and be healed.'
10要使這百姓心蒙脂油，耳朵發沉，眼睛昏迷；恐怕眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裡明白，回轉過來，便得醫治。
11Then I said, 'Lord, how long?' And He answered, 'Until cities are devastated [and] without inhabitant, Houses are without people And the land is utterly desolate,
11我就說：主啊，這到幾時為止呢？他說：直到城邑荒涼，無人居住，房屋空閒無人，地土極其荒涼。
12'The LORD has removed men far away, And the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land.
12並且耶和華將人遷到遠方，在這境內撇下的地土很多。
13'Yet there will be a tenth portion in it, And it will again be [subject] to burning, Like a terebinth or an oak Whose stump remains when it is felled. The holy seed is its stump.'
13境內剩下的人若還有十分之一，也必被吞滅，像栗樹、橡樹雖被砍伐，樹墩子卻仍存留。這聖潔的種類在國中也是如此。
