1Draw near, O nations, to hear; and listen, O peoples! Let the earth and all it contains hear, and the world and all that springs from it.
1列國啊，要近前來聽！眾民哪，要側耳而聽！地和其上所充滿的，世界和其中一切所出的都應當聽！
2For the LORD'S indignation is against all the nations, And [His] wrath against all their armies; He has utterly destroyed them, He has given them over to slaughter.
2因為耶和華向萬國發忿恨，向他們的全軍發烈怒，將他們滅盡，交出他們受殺戮。
3So their slain will be thrown out, And their corpses will give off their stench, And the mountains will be drenched with their blood.
3被殺的必然拋棄，屍首臭氣上騰；諸山被他們的血融化。
4And all the host of heaven will wear away, And the sky will be rolled up like a scroll; All their hosts will also wither away As a leaf withers from the vine, Or as [one] withers from the fig tree.
4天上的萬象都要消沒；天被捲起，好像書卷。其上的萬象要殘敗，像葡萄樹的葉子殘敗，又像無花果樹的葉子殘敗一樣。
5For My sword is satiated in heaven, Behold it shall descend for judgment upon Edom And upon the people whom I have devoted to destruction.
5因為我的刀在天上已經喝足；這刀必臨到以東和我所咒詛的民，要施行審判。
6The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, It is sated with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats, With the fat of the kidneys of rams. For the LORD has a sacrifice in Bozrah And a great slaughter in the land of Edom.
6耶和華的刀滿了血，用脂油和羊羔、公山羊的血，並公綿羊腰子的脂油滋潤的；因為耶和華在波斯拉有獻祭的事，在以東地大行殺戮。
7Wild oxen will also fall with them And young bulls with strong ones; Thus their land will be soaked with blood, And their dust become greasy with fat.
7野牛、牛犢，和公牛要一同下來。他們的地喝醉了血；他們的塵土因脂油肥潤。
8For the LORD has a day of vengeance, A year of recompense for the cause of Zion.
8因耶和華有報仇之日，為錫安的爭辯有報應之年。
9Its streams will be turned into pitch, And its loose earth into brimstone, And its land will become burning pitch.
9以東的河水要變為石油，塵埃要變為硫磺；地土成為燒著的石油，
10It will not be quenched night or day; Its smoke will go up forever. From generation to generation it will be desolate; None will pass through it forever and ever.
10晝夜總不熄滅，煙氣永遠上騰，必世世代代成為荒廢，永永遠遠無人經過。
11But pelican and hedgehog will possess it, And owl and raven will dwell in it; And He will stretch over it the line of desolation And the plumb line of emptiness.
11鵜鶘、箭豬卻要得為業；貓頭鷹、烏鴉要住在其間。耶和華必將空虛的準繩，混沌的線鉈，拉在其上。
12Its nobles-- there is no one there [Whom] they may proclaim king-- And all its princes will be nothing.
12以東人要召貴冑來治國；那裡卻無一個，首領也都歸於無有。
13Thorns will come up in its fortified towers, Nettles and thistles in its fortified cities; It will also be a haunt of jackals [And] an abode of ostriches.
13以東的宮殿要長荊棘；保障要長蒺藜和刺草；要作野狗的住處，鴕鳥的居所。
14The desert creatures will meet with the wolves, The hairy goat also will cry to its kind; Yes, the night monster will settle there And will find herself a resting place.
14曠野的走獸要和豺狼相遇；野山羊要與伴偶對叫。夜間的怪物必在那裡棲身，自找安歇之處。
15The tree snake will make its nest and lay [eggs] there, And it will hatch and gather [them] under its protection. Yes, the hawks will be gathered there, Every one with its kind.
15箭蛇要在那裡做窩，下蛋，菢蛋，生子，聚子在其影下；鷂鷹各與伴偶聚集在那裡。
16Seek from the book of the LORD, and read: Not one of these will be missing; None will lack its mate. For His mouth has commanded, And His Spirit has gathered them.
16你們要查考宣讀耶和華的書。這都無一缺少，無一沒有伴偶；因為我的口已經吩咐，他的靈將他們聚集。
17He has cast the lot for them, And His hand has divided it to them by line. They shall possess it forever; From generation to generation they will dwell in it.
17他也為他們拈鬮，又親手用準繩給他們分地；他們必永得為業，世世代代住在其間。
