1Then he brought me back to the door of the house; and behold, water was flowing from under the threshold of the house toward the east, for the house faced east. And the water was flowing down from under, from the right side of the house, from south of the altar.
1他帶我回到殿門，見殿的門檻下有水往東流出（原來殿面朝東）。這水從檻下，由殿的右邊，在祭壇的南邊往下流。
2He brought me out by way of the north gate and led me around on the outside to the outer gate by way of [the gate] that faces east. And behold, water was trickling from the south side.
2他帶我出北門，又領我從外邊轉到朝東的外門，見水從右邊流出。
3When the man went out toward the east with a line in his hand, he measured a thousand cubits, and he led me through the water, water [reaching] the ankles.
3他手拿準繩往東出去的時候，量了一千肘，使我逿過水，水到踝子骨。
4Again he measured a thousand and led me through the water, water [reaching] the knees. Again he measured a thousand and led me through [the water], water [reaching] the loins.
4他又量了一千肘，使我逿過水，水就到膝；再量了一千肘，使我逿過水，水便到腰；
5Again he measured a thousand; [and it was] a river that I could not ford, for the water had risen, [enough] water to swim in, a river that could not be forded.
5又量了一千肘，水便成了河，使我不能逿過。因為水勢漲起，成為可洑的水，不可逿的河。
6He said to me, 'Son of man, have you seen [this]?' Then he brought me back to the bank of the river.
6他對我說：人子啊，你看見了甚麼？他就帶我回到河邊。
7Now when I had returned, behold, on the bank of the river there [were] very many trees on the one side and on the other.
7我回到河邊的時候，見在河這邊與那邊的岸上有極多的樹木。
8Then he said to me, 'These waters go out toward the eastern region and go down into the Arabah; then they go toward the sea, being made to flow into the sea, and the waters [of the sea] become fresh.
8他對我說：這水往東方流去，必下到亞拉巴，直到海。所發出來的水必流入鹽海，使水變甜（原文是得醫治；下同）。
9'It will come about that every living creature which swarms in every place where the river goes, will live. And there will be very many fish, for these waters go there and [the others] become fresh; so everything will live where the river goes.
9這河水所到之處，凡滋生的動物都必生活，並且因這流來的水必有極多的魚，海水也變甜了。這河水所到之處，百物都必生活。
10'And it will come about that fishermen will stand beside it; from Engedi to Eneglaim there will be a place for the spreading of nets. Their fish will be according to their kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea, very many.
10必有漁夫站在河邊，從隱基底直到隱以革蓮，都作曬（或譯：張）網之處。那魚各從其類，好像大海的魚甚多。
11'But its swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they will be left for salt.
11只是泥濘之地與窪濕之處不得治好，必為鹽地。
12'By the river on its bank, on one side and on the other, will grow all [kinds of] trees for food. Their leaves will not wither and their fruit will not fail. They will bear every month because their water flows from the sanctuary, and their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing.'
12在河這邊與那邊的岸上必生長各類的樹木；其果可作食物，葉子不枯乾，果子不斷絕。每月必結新果子，因為這水是從聖所流出來的。樹上的果子必作食物，葉子乃為治病。
13Thus says the Lord GOD, 'This [shall be] the boundary by which you shall divide the land for an inheritance among the twelve tribes of Israel; Joseph [shall have] two portions.
13主耶和華如此說：你們要照地的境界，按以色列十二支派分地為業。約瑟必得兩分。
14'You shall divide it for an inheritance, each one equally with the other; for I swore to give it to your forefathers, and this land shall fall to you as an inheritance.
14你們承受這地為業，要彼此均分；因為我曾起誓應許將這地賜與你們的列祖；這地必歸你們為業。
15'This [shall be] the boundary of the land: on the north side, from the Great Sea [by] the way of Hethlon, to the entrance of Zedad;
15地的四界乃是如此：北界從大海往希特倫，直到西達達口。
16Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, which is between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath; Hazer-hatticon, which is by the border of Hauran.
16又往哈馬、比羅他、西伯蓮（西伯蓮在大馬色與哈馬兩界中間），到浩蘭邊界的哈撒哈提干。
17'The boundary shall extend from the sea [to] Hazar-enan [at] the border of Damascus, and on the north toward the north is the border of Hamath. This is the north side.
17這樣，境界從海邊往大馬色地界上的哈薩以難，北邊以哈馬地為界。這是北界。
18'The east side, from between Hauran, Damascus, Gilead and the land of Israel, [shall be] the Jordan; from the [north] border to the eastern sea you shall measure. This is the east side.
18東界在浩蘭、大馬色、基列，和以色列地的中間，就是約但河。你們要從北界量到東海。這是東界。
19'The south side toward the south [shall extend] from Tamar as far as the waters of Meribath-kadesh, to the brook [of Egypt and] to the Great Sea. This is the south side toward the south.
19南界是從他瑪到米利巴加低斯的水，延到埃及小河，直到大海。這是南界。
20'The west side [shall be] the Great Sea, from the [south] border to a point opposite Lebo-hamath. This is the west side.
20西界就是大海，從南界直到哈馬口對面之地。這是西界。
21'So you shall divide this land among yourselves according to the tribes of Israel.
21你們要按著以色列的支派彼此分這地。
22'You shall divide it by lot for an inheritance among yourselves and among the aliens who stay in your midst, who bring forth sons in your midst. And they shall be to you as the native-born among the sons of Israel; they shall be allotted an inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.
22要拈鬮分這地為業，歸與自己和你們中間寄居的外人，就是在你們中間生養兒女的外人。你們要看他們如同以色列人中所生的一樣；他們在以色列支派中要與你們同得地業
23'And in the tribe with which the alien stays, there you shall give [him] his inheritance,' declares the Lord GOD.
23外人寄居在哪支派中，你們就在那裡分給他地業。這是主耶和華說的。
