1Moreover, the word of the LORD came to me saying,
1耶和華的話又臨到我說:
2'And you, son of man, take up a lamentation over Tyre;
2人子啊,要為推羅作起哀歌,
3and say to Tyre, who dwells at the entrance to the sea, merchant of the peoples to many coastlands, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, 'O Tyre, you have said, 'I am perfect in beauty.'
3說:你居住海口,是眾民的商埠;你的交易通到許多的海島。主耶和華如此說:推羅啊,你曾說:我是全然美麗的。
4'Your borders are in the heart of the seas; Your builders have perfected your beauty.
4你的境界在海中,造你的使你全然美麗。
5'They have made all [your] planks of fir trees from Senir; They have taken a cedar from Lebanon to make a mast for you.
5他們用示尼珥的松樹做你的一切板,用利巴嫩的香柏樹做桅杆,
6'Of oaks from Bashan they have made your oars; With ivory they have inlaid your deck of boxwood from the coastlands of Cyprus.
6用巴珊的橡樹做你的槳,用象牙鑲嵌基提海島的黃楊木為坐板(或譯:艙板)。
7'Your sail was of fine embroidered linen from Egypt So that it became your distinguishing mark; Your awning was blue and purple from the coastlands of Elishah.
7你的篷帆是用埃及繡花細麻布做的,可以做你的大旗;你的涼棚是用以利沙島的藍色、紫色布做的。
8'The inhabitants of Sidon and Arvad were your rowers; Your wise men, O Tyre, were aboard; they were your pilots.
8西頓和亞發的居民作你盪槳的。推羅啊,你中間的智慧人作掌舵的。
9'The elders of Gebal and her wise men were with you repairing your seams; All the ships of the sea and their sailors were with you in order to deal in your merchandise.
9迦巴勒的老者和聰明人都在你中間作補縫的;一切泛海的船隻和水手都在你中間經營交易的事。
10'Persia and Lud and Put were in your army, your men of war. They hung shield and helmet in you; they set forth your splendor.
10波斯人、路德人、弗人在你軍營中作戰士;他們在你中間懸掛盾牌和頭盔,彰顯你的尊榮。
11'The sons of Arvad and your army were on your walls, [all] around, and the Gammadim were in your towers. They hung their shields on your walls [all] around; they perfected your beauty.
11亞發人和你的軍隊都在你四圍的牆上,你的望樓也有勇士;他們懸掛盾牌,成全你的美麗。
12'Tarshish was your customer because of the abundance of all [kinds] of wealth; with silver, iron, tin and lead they paid for your wares.
12他施人因你多有各類的財物,就作你的客商,拿銀、鐵、錫、鉛兌換你的貨物。
13'Javan, Tubal and Meshech, they were your traders; with the lives of men and vessels of bronze they paid for your merchandise.
13雅完人、土巴人、米設人都與你交易;他們用人口和銅器兌換你的貨物。
14'Those from Beth-togarmah gave horses and war horses and mules for your wares.
14陀迦瑪族用馬和戰馬並騾子兌換你的貨物。
15'The sons of Dedan were your traders. Many coastlands were your market; ivory tusks and ebony they brought as your payment.
15底但人與你交易,許多海島作你的碼頭;他們拿象牙、烏木與你兌換(或譯:進貢)。
16'Aram was your customer because of the abundance of your goods; they paid for your wares with emeralds, purple, embroidered work, fine linen, coral and rubies.
16亞蘭人因你的工作很多,就作你的客商;他們用綠寶石、紫色布繡貨、細麻布、珊瑚、紅寶石兌換你的貨物。
17'Judah and the land of Israel, they were your traders; with the wheat of Minnith, cakes, honey, oil and balm they paid for your merchandise.
17猶大和以色列地的人都與你交易;他們用米匿的麥子、餅、蜜、油、乳香兌換你的貨物。
18'Damascus was your customer because of the abundance of your goods, because of the abundance of all [kinds] of wealth, because of the wine of Helbon and white wool.
18大馬色人因你的工作很多,又因你多有各類的財物,就拿黑本酒和白羊毛與你交易。
19'Vedan and Javan paid for your wares from Uzal; wrought iron, cassia and sweet cane were among your merchandise.
19威但人和雅完人拿紡成的線、亮鐵、桂皮、菖蒲兌換你的貨物。
20'Dedan traded with you in saddlecloths for riding.
20底但人用高貴的毯子、鞍、屜與你交易。
21'Arabia and all the princes of Kedar, they were your customers for lambs, rams and goats; for these they were your customers.
21亞拉伯人和基達的一切首領都作你的客商,用羊羔、公綿羊、公山羊與你交易。
22'The traders of Sheba and Raamah, they traded with you; they paid for your wares with the best of all [kinds] of spices, and with all [kinds] of precious stones and gold.
22示巴和拉瑪的商人與你交易,他們用各類上好的香料、各類的寶石,和黃金兌換你的貨物。
23'Haran, Canneh, Eden, the traders of Sheba, Asshur [and] Chilmad traded with you.
23哈蘭人、干尼人、伊甸人、示巴的商人,和亞述人、基抹人與你交易。
24'They traded with you in choice garments, in clothes of blue and embroidered work, and in carpets of many colors [and] tightly wound cords, [which were] among your merchandise.
24這些商人以美好的貨物包在繡花藍色包袱內,又有華麗的衣服裝在香柏木的箱子裡,用繩捆著與你交易。
25'The ships of Tarshish were the carriers for your merchandise. And you were filled and were very glorious In the heart of the seas.
25他施的船隻接連成幫為你運貨,你便在海中豐富極其榮華。
26'Your rowers have brought you Into great waters; The east wind has broken you In the heart of the seas.
26盪槳的已經把你盪到大水之處,東風在海中將你打破。
27'Your wealth, your wares, your merchandise, Your sailors and your pilots, Your repairers of seams, your dealers in merchandise And all your men of war who are in you, With all your company that is in your midst, Will fall into the heart of the seas On the day of your overthrow.
27你的資財、物件、貨物、水手、掌舵的、補縫的、經營交易的,並你中間的戰士和人民,在你破壞的日子必都沉在海中。
28'At the sound of the cry of your pilots The pasture lands will shake.
28你掌舵的呼號之聲一發,郊野都必震動。
29'All who handle the oar, The sailors [and] all the pilots of the sea Will come down from their ships; They will stand on the land,
29凡盪槳的和水手,並一切泛海掌舵的,都必下船登岸。
30And they will make their voice heard over you And will cry bitterly. They will cast dust on their heads, They will wallow in ashes.
30他們必為你放聲痛哭,把塵土撒在頭上,在灰中打滾;
31'Also they will make themselves bald for you And gird themselves with sackcloth; And they will weep for you in bitterness of soul With bitter mourning.
31又為你使頭上光禿,用麻布束腰,號咷痛哭,苦苦悲哀。
32'Moreover, in their wailing they will take up a lamentation for you And lament over you: 'Who is like Tyre, Like her who is silent in the midst of the sea?
32他們哀號的時候,為你作起哀歌哀哭,說:有何城如推羅﹖有何城如他在海中成為寂寞的呢﹖
33'When your wares went out from the seas, You satisfied many peoples; With the abundance of your wealth and your merchandise You enriched the kings of earth.
33你由海上運出貨物,就使許多國民充足;你以許多資財、貨物使地上的君王豐富。
34'Now that you are broken by the seas In the depths of the waters, Your merchandise and all your company Have fallen in the midst of you.
34你在深水中被海浪打破的時候,你的貨物和你中間的一切人民,就都沉下去了。
35'All the inhabitants of the coastlands Are appalled at you, And their kings are horribly afraid; They are troubled in countenance.
35海島的居民為你驚奇;他們的君王都甚恐慌,面帶愁容。
36'The merchants among the peoples hiss at you; You have become terrified And you will cease to be forever.''''
36各國民中的客商都向你發嘶聲;你令人驚恐,不再存留於世,直到永遠。
