1Now it came about in the thirtieth year, on the fifth [day] of the fourth month, while I was by the river Chebar among the exiles, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.
1當三十年四月初五日，以西結（原文是我）在迦巴魯河邊被擄的人中，天就開了，得見神的異象。
2(On the fifth of the month in the fifth year of King Jehoiachin's exile,
2正是約雅斤王被擄去第五年四月初五日，
3the word of the LORD came expressly to Ezekiel the priest, son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and there the hand of the LORD came upon him.)
3在迦勒底人之地、迦巴魯河邊，耶和華的話特特臨到布西的兒子祭司以西結；耶和華的靈（原文是手）降在他身上。
4As I looked, behold, a storm wind was coming from the north, a great cloud with fire flashing forth continually and a bright light around it, and in its midst something like glowing metal in the midst of the fire.
4我觀看，見狂風從北方颳來，隨著有一朵包括閃爍火的大雲，周圍有光輝；從其中的火內發出好像光耀的精金；
5Within it there were figures resembling four living beings. And this was their appearance: they had human form.
5又從其中顯出四個活物的形像來。他們的形狀是這樣：有人的形像，
6Each of them had four faces and four wings.
6各有四個臉面，四個翅膀。
7Their legs were straight and their feet were like a calf's hoof, and they gleamed like burnished bronze.
7他們的腿是直的，腳掌好像牛犢之蹄，都燦爛如光明的銅。
8Under their wings on their four sides [were] human hands. As for the faces and wings of the four of them,
8在四面的翅膀以下有人的手。這四個活物的臉和翅膀乃是這樣：
9their wings touched one another; [their faces] did not turn when they moved, each went straight forward.
9翅膀彼此相接，行走並不轉身，俱各直往前行。
10As for the form of their faces, [each] had the face of a man; all four had the face of a lion on the right and the face of a bull on the left, and all four had the face of an eagle.
10至於臉的形像：前面各有人的臉，右面各有獅子的臉，左面各有牛的臉，後面各有鷹的臉。
11Such were their faces. Their wings were spread out above; each had two touching another [being], and two covering their bodies.
11各展開上邊的兩個翅膀相接，各以下邊的兩個翅膀遮體。
12And each went straight forward; wherever the spirit was about to go, they would go, without turning as they went.
12他們俱各直往前行。靈往哪裡去，他們就往那裡去，行走並不轉身。
13In the midst of the living beings there was something that looked like burning coals of fire, like torches darting back and forth among the living beings. The fire was bright, and lightning was flashing from the fire.
13至於四活物的形像，就如燒著火炭的形狀，又如火把的形狀。火在四活物中間上去下來，這火有光輝，從火中發出閃電。
14And the living beings ran to and fro like bolts of lightning.
14這活物往來奔走，好像電光一閃。
15Now as I looked at the living beings, behold, there was one wheel on the earth beside the living beings, for [each of] the four of them.
15我正觀看活物的時候，見活物的臉旁各有一輪在地上。
16The appearance of the wheels and their workmanship [was] like sparkling beryl, and all four of them had the same form, their appearance and workmanship [being] as if one wheel were within another.
16輪的形狀和顏色（原文是作法）好像水蒼玉。四輪都是一個樣式，形狀和作法好像輪中套輪。
17Whenever they moved, they moved in any of their four directions without turning as they moved.
17輪行走的時候，向四方都能直行，並不掉轉。
18As for their rims they were lofty and awesome, and the rims of all four of them were full of eyes round about.
18至於輪輞，高而可畏；四個輪輞周圍滿有眼睛。
19Whenever the living beings moved, the wheels moved with them. And whenever the living beings rose from the earth, the wheels rose [also].
19活物行走，輪也在旁邊行走；活物從地上升，輪也都上升。
20Wherever the spirit was about to go, they would go in that direction. And the wheels rose close beside them; for the spirit of the living beings [was] in the wheels.
20靈往哪裡去，活物就往那裡去；活物上升，輪也在活物旁邊上升，因為活物的靈在輪中。
21Whenever those went, these went; and whenever those stood still, these stood still. And whenever those rose from the earth, the wheels rose close beside them; for the spirit of the living beings [was] in the wheels.
21那些行走，這些也行走；那些站住，這些也站住；那些從地上升，輪也在旁邊上升，因為活物的靈在輪中。
22Now over the heads of the living beings [there was] something like an expanse, like the awesome gleam of crystal, spread out over their heads.
22活物的頭以上有穹蒼的形像，看著像可畏的水晶，鋪張在活物的頭以上。
23Under the expanse their wings [were stretched out] straight, one toward the other; each one also had two wings covering its body on the one side and on the other.
23穹蒼以下，活物的翅膀直張，彼此相對；每活物有兩個翅膀遮體。
24I also heard the sound of their wings like the sound of abundant waters as they went, like the voice of the Almighty, a sound of tumult like the sound of an army camp; whenever they stood still, they dropped their wings.
24活物行走的時候，我聽見翅膀的響聲，像大水的聲音，像全能者的聲音，也像軍隊鬨嚷的聲音。活物站住的時候，便將翅膀垂下。
25And there came a voice from above the expanse that was over their heads; whenever they stood still, they dropped their wings.
25在他們頭以上的穹蒼之上有聲音。他們站住的時候，便將翅膀垂下。
26Now above the expanse that was over their heads there was something resembling a throne, like lapis lazuli in appearance; and on that which resembled a throne, high up, [was] a figure with the appearance of a man.
26在他們頭以上的穹蒼之上有寶座的形像，彷彿藍寶石；在寶座形像以上有彷彿人的形狀。
27Then I noticed from the appearance of His loins and upward something like glowing metal that looked like fire all around within it, and from the appearance of His loins and downward I saw something like fire; and [there was] a radiance around Him.
27我見從他腰以上有彷彿光耀的精金，周圍都有火的形狀，又見從他腰以下有彷彿火的形狀，周圍也有光輝。
28As the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so [was] the appearance of the surrounding radiance. Such [was] the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw [it], I fell on my face and heard a voice speaking.
28下雨的日子，雲中虹的形狀怎樣，周圍光輝的形狀也是怎樣。這就是耶和華榮耀的形像。我一看見就俯伏在地，又聽見一位說話的聲音。
