1Now it came about in the four hundred and eightieth year after the sons of Israel came out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month of Ziv which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.
1以色列人出埃及地後四百八十年，所羅門作以色列王第四年西弗月，就是二月，開工建造耶和華的殿。
2As for the house which King Solomon built for the LORD, its length [was] sixty cubits and its width twenty [cubits] and its height thirty cubits.
2所羅門王為耶和華所建的殿，長六十肘，寬二十肘，高三十肘。
3The porch in front of the nave of the house [was] twenty cubits in length, corresponding to the width of the house, [and] its depth along the front of the house [was] ten cubits.
3殿前的廊子長二十肘，與殿的寬窄一樣，闊十肘；
4Also for the house he made windows with [artistic] frames.
4又為殿做了嚴緊的窗櫺。
5Against the wall of the house he built stories encompassing the walls of the house around both the nave and the inner sanctuary; thus he made side chambers all around.
5靠著殿牆，圍著外殿內殿，造了三層旁屋；
6The lowest story [was] five cubits wide, and the middle [was] six cubits wide, and the third [was] seven cubits wide; for on the outside he made offsets [in the wall] of the house all around in order that [the beams] would not be inserted in the walls of the house.
6下層寬五肘，中層寬六肘，上層寬七肘。殿外旁屋的梁木擱在殿牆坎上，免得插入殿牆。
7The house, while it was being built, was built of stone prepared at the quarry, and there was neither hammer nor axe nor any iron tool heard in the house while it was being built.
7建殿是用山中鑿成的石頭。建殿的時候，鎚子、斧子，和別樣鐵器的響聲都沒有聽見。
8The doorway for the lowest side chamber [was] on the right side of the house; and they would go up by winding stairs to the middle [story], and from the middle to the third.
8在殿右邊當中的旁屋有門，門內有旋螺的樓梯，可以上到第二層，從第二層可以上到第三層。
9So he built the house and finished it; and he covered the house with beams and planks of cedar.
9所羅門建殿，安置香柏木的棟梁，又用香柏木板遮蓋。
10He also built the stories against the whole house, each five cubits high; and they were fastened to the house with timbers of cedar.
10靠著殿所造的旁屋，每層高五肘，香柏木的棟梁擱在殿牆坎上。
11Now the word of the LORD came to Solomon saying,
11耶和華的話臨到所羅門說：
12'[Concerning] this house which you are building, if you will walk in My statutes and execute My ordinances and keep all My commandments by walking in them, then I will carry out My word with you which I spoke to David your father.
12論到你所建的這殿，你若遵行我的律例，謹守我的典章，遵從我的一切誡命，我必向你應驗我所應許你父親大衛的話。
13'I will dwell among the sons of Israel, and will not forsake My people Israel.'
13我必住在以色列人中間，並不丟棄我民以色列。
14So Solomon built the house and finished it.
14所羅門建造殿宇。
15Then he built the walls of the house on the inside with boards of cedar; from the floor of the house to the ceiling he overlaid [the walls] on the inside with wood, and he overlaid the floor of the house with boards of cypress.
15殿裡面用香柏木板貼牆，從地到棚頂都用木板遮蔽，又用松木板鋪地。
16He built twenty cubits on the rear part of the house with boards of cedar from the floor to the ceiling; he built [them] for it on the inside as an inner sanctuary, [even] as the most holy place.
16內殿，就是至聖所，長二十肘，從地到棚頂用香柏木板遮蔽(或作隔斷)。
17The house, that is, the nave in front of [the inner sanctuary], was forty cubits [long].
17內殿前的外殿，長四十肘。
18There was cedar on the house within, carved [in the shape] of gourds and open flowers; all was cedar, there was no stone seen.
18殿裡一點石頭都不顯露，一概用香柏木遮蔽；上面刻著野瓜和初開的花。
19Then he prepared an inner sanctuary within the house in order to place there the ark of the covenant of the LORD.
19殿裡預備了內殿，好安放耶和華的約櫃。
20The inner sanctuary [was] twenty cubits in length, twenty cubits in width, and twenty cubits in height, and he overlaid it with pure gold. He also overlaid the altar with cedar.
20內殿長二十肘，寬二十肘，高二十肘，牆面都貼上精金；又用香柏木做壇，包上精金。
21So Solomon overlaid the inside of the house with pure gold. And he drew chains of gold across the front of the inner sanctuary, and he overlaid it with gold.
21所羅門用精金貼了殿內的牆，又用金鍊子掛在內殿前門扇，用金包裹。
22He overlaid the whole house with gold, until all the house was finished. Also the whole altar which was by the inner sanctuary he overlaid with gold.
22全殿都貼上金子，直到貼完；內殿前的壇，也都用金包裹。
23Also in the inner sanctuary he made two cherubim of olive wood, each ten cubits high.
23他用橄欖木做兩個基路伯，各高十肘，安在內殿。
24Five cubits [was] the one wing of the cherub and five cubits the other wing of the cherub; from the end of one wing to the end of the other wing [were] ten cubits.
24這一個基路伯有兩個翅膀，各長五肘，從這翅膀尖到那翅膀尖共有十肘；
25The other cherub [was] ten cubits; both the cherubim were of the same measure and the same form.
25那一個基路伯的兩個翅膀也是十肘，兩個基路伯的尺寸、形像都是一樣。
26The height of the one cherub [was] ten cubits, and so [was] the other cherub.
26這基路伯高十肘，那基路伯也是如此。
27He placed the cherubim in the midst of the inner house, and the wings of the cherubim were spread out, so that the wing of the one was touching the [one] wall, and the wing of the other cherub was touching the other wall. So their wings were touching each other in the center of the house.
27他將兩個基路伯安在內殿裡；基路伯的翅膀是張開的，這基路伯的一個翅膀挨著這邊的牆，那基路伯的一個翅膀挨著那邊的牆，裡邊的兩個翅膀在殿中間彼此相接；
28He also overlaid the cherubim with gold.
28又用金子包裹二基路伯。
29Then he carved all the walls of the house round about with carved engravings of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers, inner and outer [sanctuaries].
29內殿、外殿周圍的牆上都刻著基路伯、棕樹，和初開的花。
30He overlaid the floor of the house with gold, inner and outer [sanctuaries].
30內殿、外殿的地板都貼上金子。
31For the entrance of the inner sanctuary he made doors of olive wood, the lintel [and] five-sided doorposts.
31又用橄欖木製造內殿的門扇、門楣、門框；門口有牆的五分之一。
32So [he made] two doors of olive wood, and he carved on them carvings of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold; and he spread the gold on the cherubim and on the palm trees.
32在橄欖木做的兩門扇上刻著基路伯、棕樹，和初開的花，都貼上金子。
33So also he made for the entrance of the nave four-sided doorposts of olive wood
33又用橄欖木製造外殿的門框，門口有牆的四分之一。
34and two doors of cypress wood; the two leaves of the one door turned on pivots, and the two leaves of the other door turned on pivots.
34用松木做門兩扇。這扇分兩扇，是摺疊的；那扇分兩扇；也是摺疊的。
35He carved [on it] cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers; and he overlaid [them] with gold evenly applied on the engraved work.
35上面刻著基路伯、棕樹，和初開的花，都用金子貼了。
36He built the inner court with three rows of cut stone and a row of cedar beams.
36他又用鑿成的石頭三層、香柏木一層建築內院。
37In the fourth year the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid, in the month of Ziv.
37所羅門在位第四年西弗月，立了耶和華殿的根基。
38In the eleventh year, in the month of Bul, which is the eighth month, the house was finished throughout all its parts and according to all its plans. So he was seven years in building it.
38到十一年布勒月，就是八月，殿和一切屬殿的都按著樣式造成。他建殿的工夫共有七年。
