1Now I lifted up my eyes again and looked, and behold, four chariots were coming forth from between the two mountains; and the mountains [were] bronze mountains.
1我又舉目觀看，見有四輛車從兩山中間出來；那山是銅山。
2With the first chariot [were] red horses, with the second chariot black horses,
2第一輛車套著紅馬，第二輛車套著黑馬。
3with the third chariot white horses, and with the fourth chariot strong dappled horses.
3第三輛車套著白馬，第四輛車套著有斑點的壯馬。
4Then I spoke and said to the angel who was speaking with me, 'What are these, my lord?'
4我就問與我說話的天使說：主啊，這是甚麼意思？
5The angel replied to me, 'These are the four spirits of heaven, going forth after standing before the Lord of all the earth,
5天使回答我說：這是天的四風，是從普天下的主面前出來的。
6with one of which the black horses are going forth to the north country; and the white ones go forth after them, while the dappled ones go forth to the south country.
6套著黑馬的車往北方去，白馬跟隨在後；有斑點的馬往南方去。
7'When the strong ones went out, they were eager to go to patrol the earth.' And He said, 'Go, patrol the earth.' So they patrolled the earth.
7壯馬出來，要在遍地走來走去。天使說：你們只管在遍地走來走去。他們就照樣行了。
8Then He cried out to me and spoke to me saying, 'See, those who are going to the land of the north have appeased My wrath in the land of the north.'
8他又呼叫我說：看哪，往北方去的已在北方安慰我的心。
9The word of the LORD also came to me, saying,
9耶和華的話臨到我說：
10'Take [an offering] from the exiles, from Heldai, Tobijah and Jedaiah; and you go the same day and enter the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, where they have arrived from Babylon.
10你要從被擄之人中取黑玳、多比雅、耶大雅的金銀。這三人是從巴比倫來到西番雅的兒子約西亞的家裡。當日你要進他的家，
11'Take silver and gold, make an [ornate] crown and set [it] on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest.
11取這金銀做冠冕，戴在約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞的頭上，
12'Then say to him, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'Behold, a man whose name is Branch, for He will branch out from where He is; and He will build the temple of the LORD.
12對他說，萬軍之耶和華如此說：看哪，那名稱為大衛苗裔的，他要在本處長起來，並要建造耶和華的殿。
13'Yes, it is He who will build the temple of the LORD, and He who will bear the honor and sit and rule on His throne. Thus, He will be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace will be between the two offices.''
13他要建造耶和華的殿，並擔負尊榮，坐在位上掌王權；又必在位上作祭司，使兩職之間籌定和平。
14'Now the crown will become a reminder in the temple of the LORD to Helem, Tobijah, Jedaiah and Hen the son of Zephaniah.
14這冠冕要歸希連（就是黑玳）、多比雅、耶大雅，和西番雅的兒子賢（就是約西亞），放在耶和華的殿裡為記念。
15'Those who are far off will come and build the temple of the LORD.' Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you. And it will take place if you completely obey the LORD your God.
15遠方的人也要來建造耶和華的殿，你們就知道萬軍之耶和華差遣我到你們這裡來。你們若留意聽從耶和華─你們神的話，這事必然成就。
