1For the choir director. A Maskil of the sons of Korah. O God, we have heard with our ears, Our fathers have told us The work that You did in their days, In the days of old.
1（可拉後裔的訓誨詩，交與伶長。）神啊，你在古時，我們列祖的日子所行的事，我們親耳聽見了；我們的列祖也給我們述說過。
2You with Your own hand drove out the nations; Then You planted them; You afflicted the peoples, Then You spread them abroad.
2你曾用手趕出外邦人，卻栽培了我們列祖；你苦待列邦，卻叫我們列祖發達。
3For by their own sword they did not possess the land, And their own arm did not save them, But Your right hand and Your arm and the light of Your presence, For You favored them.
3因為他們不是靠自己的刀劍得地土，也不是靠自己的膀臂得勝，乃是靠你的右手、你的膀臂，和你臉上的亮光，因為你喜悅他們。
4You are my King, O God; Command victories for Jacob.
4神啊，你是我的王；求你出令使雅各得勝。
5Through You we will push back our adversaries; Through Your name we will trample down those who rise up against us.
5我們靠你要推倒我們的敵人，靠你的名要踐踏那起來攻擊我們的人。
6For I will not trust in my bow, Nor will my sword save me.
6因為，我必不靠我的弓；我的刀也不能使我得勝。
7But You have saved us from our adversaries, And You have put to shame those who hate us.
7惟你救了我們脫離敵人，使恨我們的人羞愧。
8In God we have boasted all day long, And we will give thanks to Your name forever. Selah.
8我們終日因神誇耀，還要永遠稱謝你的名。（細拉）
9Yet You have rejected [us] and brought us to dishonor, And do not go out with our armies.
9但如今你丟棄了我們，使我們受辱，不和我們的軍兵同去。
10You cause us to turn back from the adversary; And those who hate us have taken spoil for themselves.
10你使我們向敵人轉身退後；那恨我們的人任意搶奪。
11You give us as sheep to be eaten And have scattered us among the nations.
11你使我們當作快要被吃的羊，把我們分散在列邦中。
12You sell Your people cheaply, And have not profited by their sale.
12你賣了你的子民也不賺利，所得的價值並不加添你的資財。
13You make us a reproach to our neighbors, A scoffing and a derision to those around us.
13你使我們受鄰國的羞辱，被四圍的人嗤笑譏刺。
14You make us a byword among the nations, A laughingstock among the peoples.
14你使我們在列邦中作了笑談，使眾民向我們搖頭。
15All day long my dishonor is before me And my humiliation has overwhelmed me,
15我的凌辱終日在我面前，我臉上的羞愧將我遮蔽，
16Because of the voice of him who reproaches and reviles, Because of the presence of the enemy and the avenger.
16都因那辱罵毀謗人的聲音，又因仇敵和報仇人的緣故。
17All this has come upon us, but we have not forgotten You, And we have not dealt falsely with Your covenant.
17這都臨到我們身上，我們卻沒有忘記你，也沒有違背你的約。
18Our heart has not turned back, And our steps have not deviated from Your way,
18我們的心沒有退後；我們的腳也沒有偏離你的路。
19Yet You have crushed us in a place of jackals And covered us with the shadow of death.
19你在野狗之處壓傷我們，用死蔭遮蔽我們。
20If we had forgotten the name of our God Or extended our hands to a strange god,
20倘若我們忘了神的名，或向別神舉手，
21Would not God find this out? For He knows the secrets of the heart.
21神豈不鑒察這事麼？因為他曉得人心裡的隱秘。
22But for Your sake we are killed all day long; We are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.
22我們為你的緣故終日被殺；人看我們如將宰的羊。
23Arouse Yourself, why do You sleep, O Lord? Awake, do not reject us forever.
23主啊，求你睡醒，為何儘睡呢？求你興起，不要永遠丟棄我們！
24Why do You hide Your face [And] forget our affliction and our oppression?
24你為何掩面，不顧我們所遭的苦難和所受的欺壓？
25For our soul has sunk down into the dust; Our body cleaves to the earth.
25我們的性命伏於塵土；我們的肚腹緊貼地面。
26Rise up, be our help, And redeem us for the sake of Your lovingkindness.
26求你起來幫助我們！憑你的慈愛救贖我們！
