2Behold, as the eyes of servants [look] to the hand of their master, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, So our eyes [look] to the LORD our God, Until He is gracious to us.

2看哪，僕人的眼睛怎樣望主人的手，使女的眼睛怎樣望主母的手，我們的眼睛也照樣望耶和華─我們的神，直到他憐憫我們。

3Be gracious to us, O LORD, be gracious to us, For we are greatly filled with contempt.

3耶和華啊，求你憐憫我們，憐憫我們！因為我們被藐視，已到極處。

4Our soul is greatly filled With the scoffing of those who are at ease, [And] with the contempt of the proud.
