1Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
1你們要稱謝耶和華，因他本為善；他的慈愛永遠長存！
2Let the redeemed of the LORD say [so], Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary
2願耶和華的贖民說這話，就是他從敵人手中所救贖的，
3And gathered from the lands, From the east and from the west, From the north and from the south.
3從各地，從東從西，從南從北，所招聚來的。
4They wandered in the wilderness in a desert region; They did not find a way to an inhabited city.
4他們在曠野荒地漂流，尋不見可住的城邑，
5[They were] hungry and thirsty; Their soul fainted within them.
5又飢又渴，心裡發昏。
6Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble; He delivered them out of their distresses.
6於是，他們在苦難中哀求耶和華；他從他們的禍患中搭救他們，
7He led them also by a straight way, To go to an inhabited city.
7又領他們行走直路，使他們往可居住的城邑。
8Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness, And for His wonders to the sons of men!
8但願人因耶和華的慈愛和他向人所行的奇事都稱讚他；
9For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, And the hungry soul He has filled with what is good.
9因他使心裡渴慕的人得以知足，使心裡飢餓的人得飽美物。
10There were those who dwelt in darkness and in the shadow of death, Prisoners in misery and chains,
10那些坐在黑暗中、死蔭裡的人被困苦和鐵鍊捆鎖，
11Because they had rebelled against the words of God And spurned the counsel of the Most High.
11是因他們違背神的話語，藐視至高者的旨意。
12Therefore He humbled their heart with labor; They stumbled and there was none to help.
12所以，他用勞苦治服他們的心；他們仆倒，無人扶助。
13Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble; He saved them out of their distresses.
13於是，他們在苦難中哀求耶和華；他從他們的禍患中拯救他們。
14He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death And broke their bands apart.
14他從黑暗中和死蔭裡領他們出來，折斷他們的綁索。
15Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness, And for His wonders to the sons of men!
15但願人因耶和華的慈愛和他向人所行的奇事都稱讚他；
16For He has shattered gates of bronze And cut bars of iron asunder.
16因為他打破了銅門，砍斷了鐵閂。
17Fools, because of their rebellious way, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.
17愚妄人因自己的過犯和自己的罪孽便受苦楚。
18Their soul abhorred all kinds of food, And they drew near to the gates of death.
18他們心裡厭惡各樣的食物，就臨近死門。
19Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble; He saved them out of their distresses.
19於是，他們在苦難中哀求耶和華；他從他們的禍患中拯救他們。
20He sent His word and healed them, And delivered [them] from their destructions.
20他發命醫治他們，救他們脫離死亡。
21Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness, And for His wonders to the sons of men!
21但願人因耶和華的慈愛和他向人所行的奇事都稱讚他。
22Let them also offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, And tell of His works with joyful singing.
22願他們以感謝為祭獻給他，歡呼述說他的作為！
23Those who go down to the sea in ships, Who do business on great waters;
23在海上坐船，在大水中經理事務的，
24They have seen the works of the LORD, And His wonders in the deep.
24他們看見耶和華的作為，並他在深水中的奇事。
25For He spoke and raised up a stormy wind, Which lifted up the waves of the sea.
25因他一吩咐，狂風就起來，海中的波浪也揚起。
26They rose up to the heavens, they went down to the depths; Their soul melted away in [their] misery.
26他們上到天空，下到海底；他們的心因患難便消化。
27They reeled and staggered like a drunken man, And were at their wits' end.
27他們搖搖幌幌，東倒西歪，好像醉酒的人；他們的智慧無法可施。
28Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, And He brought them out of their distresses.
28於是，他們在苦難中哀求耶和華，他從他們的禍患中領出他們來。
29He caused the storm to be still, So that the waves of the sea were hushed.
29他使狂風止息，波浪就平靜。
30Then they were glad because they were quiet, So He guided them to their desired haven.
30風息浪靜，他們便歡喜；他就引他們到所願去的海口。
31Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness, And for His wonders to the sons of men!
31但願人因耶和華的慈愛和他向人所行的奇事都稱讚他。
32Let them extol Him also in the congregation of the people, And praise Him at the seat of the elders.
32願他們在民的會中尊崇他，在長老的位上讚美他！
33He changes rivers into a wilderness And springs of water into a thirsty ground;
33他使江河變為曠野，叫水泉變為乾渴之地，
34A fruitful land into a salt waste, Because of the wickedness of those who dwell in it.
34使肥地變為鹼地；這都因其間居民的罪惡。
35He changes a wilderness into a pool of water And a dry land into springs of water;
35他使曠野變為水潭，叫旱地變為水泉。
36And there He makes the hungry to dwell, So that they may establish an inhabited city,
36他使飢餓的人住在那裡，好建造可住的城邑，
37And sow fields and plant vineyards, And gather a fruitful harvest.
37又種田地，栽葡萄園，得享所出的土產。
38Also He blesses them and they multiply greatly, And He does not let their cattle decrease.
38他又賜福給他們，叫他們生養眾多，也不叫他們的牲畜減少。
39When they are diminished and bowed down Through oppression, misery and sorrow,
39他們又因暴虐、患難、愁苦，就減少且卑下。
40He pours contempt upon princes And makes them wander in a pathless waste.
40他使君王蒙羞被辱，使他們在荒廢無路之地漂流。
41But He sets the needy securely on high away from affliction, And makes [his] families like a flock.
41他卻將窮乏人安置在高處，脫離苦難，使他的家屬多如羊群。
42The upright see it and are glad; But all unrighteousness shuts its mouth.
42正直人看見就歡喜；罪孽之輩必塞口無言。
43Who is wise? Let him give heed to these things, And consider the lovingkindnesses of the LORD.
43凡有智慧的，必在這些事上留心，也必思想耶和華的慈愛。
