1In those days, when there was again a large crowd and they had nothing to eat, Jesus called His disciples and said to them,
1那時，又有許多人聚集，並沒有甚麼吃的。耶穌叫門徒來，說：
2'I feel compassion for the people because they have remained with Me now three days and have nothing to eat.
2我憐憫這眾人；因為他們同我在這裡已經三天，也沒有吃的了。
3'If I send them away hungry to their homes, they will faint on the way; and some of them have come from a great distance.'
3我若打發他們餓著回家，就必在路上困乏，因為其中有從遠處來的。
4And His disciples answered Him, 'Where will anyone be able [to find enough] bread here in [this] desolate place to satisfy these people?'
4門徒回答說：在這野地，從那裡能得餅，叫這些人吃飽呢？
5And He was asking them, 'How many loaves do you have?' And they said, 'Seven.'
5耶穌問他們說：你們有多少餅？他們說：七個。
6And He directed the people to sit down on the ground; and taking the seven loaves, He gave thanks and broke them, and started giving them to His disciples to serve to them, and they served them to the people.
6他吩咐眾人坐在地上，就拿著這七個餅祝謝了，擘開，遞給門徒，叫他們擺開，門徒就擺在眾人面前。
7They also had a few small fish; and after He had blessed them, He ordered these to be served as well.
7又有幾條小魚；耶穌祝了福，就吩咐也擺在眾人面前。
8And they ate and were satisfied; and they picked up seven large baskets full of what was left over of the broken pieces.
8眾人都吃，並且吃飽了，收拾剩下的零碎，有七筐子。
9About four thousand were [there]; and He sent them away.
9人數約有四千。耶穌打發他們走了，
10And immediately He entered the boat with His disciples and came to the district of Dalmanutha.
10隨即同門徒上船，來到大瑪努他境內。
11The Pharisees came out and began to argue with Him, seeking from Him a sign from heaven, to test Him.
11法利賽人出來盤問耶穌，求他從天上顯個神蹟給他們看，想要試探他。
12Sighing deeply in His spirit, He said, 'Why does this generation seek for a sign? Truly I say to you, no sign will be given to this generation.'
12耶穌心裡深深的歎息，說：這世代為甚麼求神蹟呢？我實在告訴你們，沒有神蹟給這世代看。
13Leaving them, He again embarked and went away to the other side.
13他就離開他們，又上船往海那邊去了。
14And they had forgotten to take bread, and did not have more than one loaf in the boat with them.
14門徒忘了帶餅；在船上除了一個餅，沒有別的食物。
15And He was giving orders to them, saying, 'Watch out! Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.'
15耶穌囑咐他們說：你們要謹慎，防備法利賽人的酵和希律的酵。
16They [began] to discuss with one another [the fact] that they had no bread.
16他們彼此議論說：這是因為我們沒有餅罷。
17And Jesus, aware of this, said to them, 'Why do you discuss [the fact] that you have no bread? Do you not yet see or understand? Do you have a hardened heart?
17耶穌看出來，就說：你們為甚麼因為沒有餅就議論呢？你們還不省悟，還不明白麼？你們的心還是愚頑麼？
18'HAVING EYES, DO YOU NOT SEE? AND HAVING EARS, DO YOU NOT HEAR? And do you not remember,
18你們有眼睛，看不見麼？有耳朵，聽不見麼？也不記得麼？
19when I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces you picked up?' They said to Him, 'Twelve.'
19我擘開那五個餅分給五千人，你們收拾的零碎裝滿了多少籃子呢？他們說：十二個。
20'When [I broke] the seven for the four thousand, how many large baskets full of broken pieces did you pick up?' And they said to Him, 'Seven.'
20又擘開那七個餅分給四千人，你們收拾的零碎裝滿了多少筐子呢？他們說：七個。
21And He was saying to them, 'Do you not yet understand?'
21耶穌說：你們還是不明白麼？
22And they came to Bethsaida. And they brought a blind man to Jesus and implored Him to touch him.
22他們來到伯賽大，有人帶一個瞎子來，求耶穌摸他。
23Taking the blind man by the hand, He brought him out of the village; and after spitting on his eyes and laying His hands on him, He asked him, 'Do you see anything?'
23耶穌拉著瞎子的手，領他到村外，就吐唾沫在他眼睛上，按手在他身上，問他說：你看見甚麼了？
24And he looked up and said, 'I see men, for I see [them] like trees, walking around.'
24他就抬頭一看，說：我看見人了；他們好像樹木，並且行走。
25Then again He laid His hands on his eyes; and he looked intently and was restored, and [began] to see everything clearly.
25隨後又按手在他眼睛上，他定睛一看，就復了原，樣樣都看得清楚了。
26And He sent him to his home, saying, 'Do not even enter the village.'
26耶穌打發他回家，說：連這村子你也不要進去。
27Jesus went out, along with His disciples, to the villages of Caesarea Philippi; and on the way He questioned His disciples, saying to them, 'Who do people say that I am?'
27耶穌和門徒出去，往該撒利亞腓立比的村莊去；在路上問門徒說：人說我是誰？
28They told Him, saying, 'John the Baptist; and others [say] Elijah; but others, one of the prophets.'
28他們說：有人說是施洗的約翰；有人說是以利亞；又有人說是先知裡的一位。
29And He [continued] by questioning them, 'But who do you say that I am?' Peter answered and said to Him, 'You are the Christ.'
29又問他們說：你們說我是誰？彼得回答說：你是基督。
30And He warned them to tell no one about Him.
30耶穌就禁戒他們，不要告訴人。
31And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
31從此，他教訓他們說：人子必須受許多的苦，被長老、祭司長，和文士棄絕，並且被殺，過三天復活。
32And He was stating the matter plainly. And Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him.
32耶穌明明的說這話，彼得就拉著他，勸他。
33But turning around and seeing His disciples, He rebuked Peter and said, 'Get behind Me, Satan; for you are not setting your mind on God's interests, but man's.'
33耶穌轉過來，看著門徒，就責備彼得說：撒但，退我後邊去罷！因為你不體貼神的意思，只體貼人的意思。
34And He summoned the crowd with His disciples, and said to them, 'If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.
34於是叫眾人和門徒來，對他們說：若有人要跟從我，就當捨己，背起他的十字架來跟從我。
35'For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel's will save it.
35因為，凡要救自己生命（或作：靈魂；下同）的，必喪掉生命；凡為我和福音喪掉生命的，必救了生命。
36'For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?
36人就是賺得全世界，賠上自己的生命，有甚麼益處呢？
37'For what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
37人還能拿甚麼換生命呢？
38'For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.'
38凡在這淫亂罪惡的世代，把我和我的道當作可恥的，人子在他父的榮耀裡，同聖天使降臨的時候，也要把那人當作可恥的。
