1Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart,
1耶穌設一個比喻，是要人常常禱告，不可灰心。
2saying, 'In a certain city there was a judge who did not fear God and did not respect man.
2說：某城裡有一個官，不懼怕神，也不尊重世人。
3'There was a widow in that city, and she kept coming to him, saying, 'Give me legal protection from my opponent.'
3那城裡有個寡婦，常到他那裡，說：我有一個對頭，求你給我伸冤。
4'For a while he was unwilling; but afterward he said to himself, 'Even though I do not fear God nor respect man,
4他多日不准。後來心裡說：我雖不懼怕神，也不尊重世人，
5yet because this widow bothers me, I will give her legal protection, otherwise by continually coming she will wear me out.''
5只因這寡婦煩擾我，我就給他伸冤罷，免得他常來纏磨我！
6And the Lord said, 'Hear what the unrighteous judge said;
6主說：你們聽這不義之官所說的話。
7now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them?
7神的選民晝夜呼籲他，他縱然為他們忍了多時，豈不終久給他們伸冤麼？
8'I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?'
8我告訴你們，要快快的給他們伸冤了。然而，人子來的時候，遇得見世上有信德麼？
9And He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt:
9耶穌向那些仗著自己是義人，藐視別人的，設一個比喻，
10'Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
10說：有兩個人上殿裡去禱告：一個是法利賽人，一個是稅吏。
11'The Pharisee stood and was praying this to himself: 'God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
11法利賽人站著，自言自語的禱告說：神阿，我感謝你，我不像別人勒索、不義、姦淫，也不像這個稅吏。
12'I fast twice a week; I pay tithes of all that I get.'
12我一個禮拜禁食兩次，凡我所得的都捐上十分之一。
13'But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, the sinner!'
13那稅吏遠遠的站著，連舉目望天也不敢，只捶著胸說：神阿，開恩可憐我這個罪人！
14'I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.'
14我告訴你們，這人回家去比那人倒算為義了；因為，凡自高的，必降為卑；自卑的，必升為高。
15And they were bringing even their babies to Him so that He would touch them, but when the disciples saw it, they [began] rebuking them.
15有人抱著自己的嬰孩來見耶穌，要他摸他們；門徒看見就責備那些人。
16But Jesus called for them, saying, 'Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
16耶穌卻叫他們來，說：讓小孩子到我這裡來，不要禁止他們；因為在神國的正是這樣的人。
17'Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it [at all].'
17我實在告訴你們，凡要承受神國的，若不像小孩子，斷不能進去。
18A ruler questioned Him, saying, 'Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?'
18有一個官問耶穌說：良善的夫子，我該做甚麼事才可以承受永生？
19And Jesus said to him, 'Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone.
19耶穌對他說：你為甚麼稱我是良善的？除了神一位之外，再沒有良善的。
20'You know the commandments, 'DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, DO NOT MURDER, DO NOT STEAL, DO NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS, HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER.''
20誡命你是曉得的：不可姦淫；不可殺人；不可偷盜；不可作假見證；當孝敬父母。
21And he said, 'All these things I have kept from [my] youth.'
21那人說：這一切我從小都遵守了。
22When Jesus heard [this], He said to him, 'One thing you still lack; sell all that you possess and distribute it to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.'
22耶穌聽見了，就說：你還缺少一件：要變賣你一切所有的，分給窮人，就必有財寶在天上；你還要來跟從我。
23But when he had heard these things, he became very sad, for he was extremely rich.
23他聽見這話，就甚憂愁，因為他很富足。
24And Jesus looked at him and said, 'How hard it is for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!
24耶穌看見他，就說：有錢財的人進神的國是何等的難哪！
25'For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.'
25駱駝穿過針的眼比財主進神的國還容易呢！
26They who heard it said, 'Then who can be saved?'
26聽見的人說：這樣，誰能得救呢？
27But He said, 'The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.'
27耶穌說：在人所不能的事，在神卻能。
28Peter said, 'Behold, we have left our own [homes] and followed You.'
28彼得說：看哪，我們已經撇下自己所有的跟從你了。
29And He said to them, 'Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God,
29耶穌說：我實在告訴你們，人為神的國撇下房屋，或是妻子、弟兄、父母、兒女，
30who will not receive many times as much at this time and in the age to come, eternal life.'
30沒有在今世不得百倍，在來世不得永生的。
31Then He took the twelve aside and said to them, 'Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things which are written through the prophets about the Son of Man will be accomplished.
31耶穌帶著十二個門徒，對他們說：看哪，我們上耶路撒冷去，先知所寫的一切事都要成就在人子身上。
32'For He will be handed over to the Gentiles, and will be mocked and mistreated and spit upon,
32他將要被交給外邦人，他們要戲弄他，凌辱他，吐唾沫在他臉上，
33and after they have scourged Him, they will kill Him; and the third day He will rise again.'
33並要鞭打他，殺害他；第三日他要復活。
34But the disciples understood none of these things, and [the meaning of] this statement was hidden from them, and they did not comprehend the things that were said.
34這些事門徒一樣也不懂得，意思乃是隱藏的；他們不曉得所說的是甚麼。
35As Jesus was approaching Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the road begging.
35耶穌將近耶利哥的時候，有一個瞎子坐在路旁討飯。
36Now hearing a crowd going by, he [began] to inquire what this was.
36聽見許多人經過，就問是甚麼事。
37They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.
37他們告訴他，是拿撒勒人耶穌經過。
38And he called out, saying, 'Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!'
38他就呼叫說：大衛的子孫耶穌阿，可憐我罷！
39Those who led the way were sternly telling him to be quiet; but he kept crying out all the more, 'Son of David, have mercy on me!'
39在前頭走的人就責備他，不許他作聲；他卻越發喊叫說：大衛的子孫，可憐我罷！
40And Jesus stopped and commanded that he be brought to Him; and when he came near, He questioned him,
40耶穌站住，吩咐把他領過來，到了跟前，就問他說：
41'What do you want Me to do for you?' And he said, 'Lord, [I want] to regain my sight!'
41你要我為你做甚麼？他說：主阿，我要能看見。
42And Jesus said to him, 'Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.'
42耶穌說：你可以看見！你的信救了你了。
43Immediately he regained his sight and [began] following Him, glorifying God; and when all the people saw it, they gave praise to God.
43瞎子立刻看見了，就跟隨耶穌，一路歸榮耀與神。眾人看見這事，也讚美神。
