1Then the sons of Israel again did evil in the sight of the LORD, after Ehud died.
1以笏死後，以色列人又行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，
2And the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor; and the commander of his army was Sisera, who lived in Harosheth-hagoyim.
2耶和華就把他們付與在夏瑣作王的迦南王耶賓手中；他的將軍是西西拉，住在外邦人的夏羅設。
3The sons of Israel cried to the LORD; for he had nine hundred iron chariots, and he oppressed the sons of Israel severely for twenty years.
3耶賓王有鐵車九百輛。他大大欺壓以色列人二十年，以色列人就呼求耶和華。
4Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, was judging Israel at that time.
4有一位女先知名叫底波拉，是拉比多的妻，當時作以色列的士師。
5She used to sit under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim; and the sons of Israel came up to her for judgment.
5他住在以法蓮山地拉瑪和伯特利中間，在底波拉的棕樹下。以色列人都上他那裡去聽判斷。
6Now she sent and summoned Barak the son of Abinoam from Kedesh-naphtali, and said to him, 'Behold, the LORD, the God of Israel, has commanded, 'Go and march to Mount Tabor, and take with you ten thousand men from the sons of Naphtali and from the sons of Zebulun.
6他打發人從拿弗他利的基低斯將亞比挪菴的兒子巴拉召了來，對他說：耶和華─以色列的神吩咐你說：你率領一萬拿弗他利和西布倫人上他泊山去。
7'I will draw out to you Sisera, the commander of Jabin's army, with his chariots and his many [troops] to the river Kishon, and I will give him into your hand.''
7我必使耶賓的將軍西西拉率領他的車輛和全軍往基順河，到你那裡去；我必將他交在你手中。
8Then Barak said to her, 'If you will go with me, then I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go.'
8巴拉說：你若同我去，我就去；你若不同我去，我就不去。
9She said, 'I will surely go with you; nevertheless, the honor shall not be yours on the journey that you are about to take, for the LORD will sell Sisera into the hands of a woman.' Then Deborah arose and went with Barak to Kedesh.
9底波拉說：我必與你同去，只是你在所行的路上得不著榮耀，因為耶和華要將西西拉交在一個婦人手裡。於是底波拉起來，與巴拉一同往基低斯去了。
10Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali together to Kedesh, and ten thousand men went up with him; Deborah also went up with him.
10巴拉就招聚西布倫人和拿弗他利人到基低斯，跟他上去的有一萬人。底波拉也同他上去。
11Now Heber the Kenite had separated himself from the Kenites, from the sons of Hobab the father-in-law of Moses, and had pitched his tent as far away as the oak in Zaanannim, which is near Kedesh.
11摩西岳父（或譯：內兄）何巴的後裔，基尼人希百曾離開基尼族，到靠近基低斯撒拿音的橡樹旁支搭帳棚。
12Then they told Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam had gone up to Mount Tabor.
12有人告訴西西拉說：亞比挪菴的兒子巴拉已經上他泊山了。
13Sisera called together all his chariots, nine hundred iron chariots, and all the people who [were] with him, from Harosheth-hagoyim to the river Kishon.
13西西拉就聚集所有的鐵車九百輛，和跟隨他的全軍，從外邦人的夏羅設出來，到了基順河。
14Deborah said to Barak, 'Arise! For this is the day in which the LORD has given Sisera into your hands; behold, the LORD has gone out before you.' So Barak went down from Mount Tabor with ten thousand men following him.
14底波拉對巴拉說：你起來，今日就是耶和華將西西拉交在你手的日子。耶和華豈不在你前頭行麼？於是巴拉下了他泊山，跟隨他有一萬人。
15The LORD routed Sisera and all [his] chariots and all [his] army with the edge of the sword before Barak; and Sisera alighted from [his] chariot and fled away on foot.
15耶和華使西西拉和他一切車輛全軍潰亂，在巴拉面前被刀殺敗；西西拉下車步行逃跑。
16But Barak pursued the chariots and the army as far as Harosheth-hagoyim, and all the army of Sisera fell by the edge of the sword; not even one was left.
16巴拉追趕車輛、軍隊，直到外邦人的夏羅設。西西拉的全軍都倒在刀下，沒有留下一人。
17Now Sisera fled away on foot to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite, for [there was] peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.
17只有西西拉步行逃跑，到了基尼人希百之妻雅億的帳棚，因為夏瑣王耶賓與基尼人希百家和好。
18Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said to him, 'Turn aside, my master, turn aside to me! Do not be afraid.' And he turned aside to her into the tent, and she covered him with a rug.
18雅億出來迎接西西拉，對他說：請我主進來，不要懼怕；西西拉就進了他的帳棚。雅憶用被將他遮蓋。
19He said to her, 'Please give me a little water to drink, for I am thirsty.' So she opened a bottle of milk and gave him a drink; then she covered him.
19西西拉對雅億說：我渴了，求你給我一點水喝。雅億就打開皮袋，給他奶子喝，仍舊把他遮蓋。
20He said to her, 'Stand in the doorway of the tent, and it shall be if anyone comes and inquires of you, and says, 'Is there anyone here?' that you shall say, 'No.''
20西西拉又對雅億說：請你站在帳棚門口，若有人來問你說：有人在這裡沒有？你就說：沒有。
21But Jael, Heber's wife, took a tent peg and seized a hammer in her hand, and went secretly to him and drove the peg into his temple, and it went through into the ground; for he was sound asleep and exhausted. So he died.
21西西拉疲乏沉睡。希百的妻雅億取了帳棚的橛子，手裡拿著錘子，輕悄悄地到他旁邊，將橛子從他鬢邊釘進去，釘入地裡。西西拉就死了。
22And behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him and said to him, 'Come, and I will show you the man whom you are seeking.' And he entered with her, and behold Sisera was lying dead with the tent peg in his temple.
22巴拉追趕西西拉的時候，雅億出來迎接他說：來罷，我將你所尋找的人給你看。他就進入帳棚，看見西西拉已經死了，倒在地上，橛子還在他鬢中。
23So God subdued on that day Jabin the king of Canaan before the sons of Israel.
23這樣，神使迦南王耶賓被以色列人制伏了。
24The hand of the sons of Israel pressed heavier and heavier upon Jabin the king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin the king of Canaan.
24從此以色列人的手越發有力，勝了迦南王耶賓，直到將他滅絕了。
