1Jesus, therefore, six days before the Passover, came to Bethany where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead.
1逾越節前六日，耶穌來到伯大尼，就是他叫拉撒路從死裡復活之處。
2So they made Him a supper there, and Martha was serving; but Lazarus was one of those reclining [at the] [table] with Him.
2有人在那裡給耶穌預備筵席；馬大伺候，拉撒路也在那同耶穌坐席的人中。
3Mary then took a pound of very costly perfume of pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
3馬利亞就拿著一斤極貴的真哪噠香膏，抹耶穌的腳，又用自己頭髮去擦，屋裡就滿了膏的香氣。
4But Judas Iscariot, one of His disciples, who was intending to betray Him, said,
4有一個門徒，就是那將要賣耶穌的加略人猶大，
5'Why was this perfume not sold for three hundred denarii and given to poor [people]?'
5說：這香膏為甚麼不賣三十兩銀子賙濟窮人呢？
6Now he said this, not because he was concerned about the poor, but because he was a thief, and as he had the money box, he used to pilfer what was put into it.
6他說這話，並不是掛念窮人，乃因他是個賊，又帶著錢囊，常取其中所存的。
7Therefore Jesus said, 'Let her alone, so that she may keep it for the day of My burial.
7耶穌說：由他罷！他是為我安葬之日存留的。
8'For you always have the poor with you, but you do not always have Me.'
8因為常有窮人和你們同在，只是你們不常有我。
9The large crowd of the Jews then learned that He was there; and they came, not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might also see Lazarus, whom He raised from the dead.
9有許多猶太人知道耶穌在那裡，就來了，不但是為耶穌的緣故，也是要看他從死裡所復活的拉撒路。
10But the chief priests planned to put Lazarus to death also;
10但祭司長商議連拉撒路也要殺了；
11because on account of him many of the Jews were going away and were believing in Jesus.
11因有好些猶太人為拉撒路的緣故，回去信了耶穌。
12On the next day the large crowd who had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
12第二天，有許多上來過節的人聽見耶穌將到耶路撒冷，
13took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, and [began] to shout, 'Hosanna! BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD, even the King of Israel.'
13就拿著棕樹枝出去迎接他，喊著說：和散那！奉主名來的以色列王是應當稱頌的！
14Jesus, finding a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written,
14耶穌得了一個驢駒，就騎上，如經上所記的說：
15'FEAR NOT, DAUGHTER OF ZION; BEHOLD, YOUR KING IS COMING, SEATED ON A DONKEY'S COLT.'
15錫安的民（原文作女子）哪，不要懼怕！你的王騎著驢駒來了。
16These things His disciples did not understand at the first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written of Him, and that they had done these things to Him.
16這些事門徒起先不明白，等到耶穌得了榮耀以後才想起這話是指著他寫的，並且眾人果然向他這樣行了。
17So the people, who were with Him when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead, continued to testify [about Him].
17當耶穌呼喚拉撒路，叫他從死復活出墳墓的時候，同耶穌在那裡的眾人就作見證。
18For this reason also the people went and met Him, because they heard that He had performed this sign.
18眾人因聽見耶穌行了這神蹟，就去迎接他。
19So the Pharisees said to one another, 'You see that you are not doing any good; look, the world has gone after Him.'
19法利賽人彼此說：看哪，你們是徒勞無益，世人都隨從他去了。
20Now there were some Greeks among those who were going up to worship at the feast;
20那時，上來過節禮拜的人中，有幾個希利尼人。
21these then came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and [began to] ask him, saying, 'Sir, we wish to see Jesus.'
21他們來見加利利伯賽大的腓力，求他說：先生，我們願意見耶穌。
22Philip came and told Andrew; Andrew and Philip came and told Jesus.
22腓力去告訴安得烈，安得烈同腓力去告訴耶穌。
23And Jesus answered them, saying, 'The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
23耶穌說：人子得榮耀的時候到了。
24'Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
24我實實在在的告訴你們，一粒麥子不落在地裡死了，仍舊是一粒，若是死了，就結出許多子粒來。
25'He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal.
25愛惜自己生命的，就失喪生命；在這世上恨惡自己生命的，就要保守生命到永生。
26'If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.
26若有人服事我，就當跟從我；我在那裡，服事我的人也要在那裡；若有人服事我，我父必尊重他。
27'Now My soul has become troubled; and what shall I say, 'Father, save Me from this hour '? But for this purpose I came to this hour.
27我現在心裡憂愁，我說甚麼才好呢？父阿，救我脫離這時候；但我原是為這時候來的。
28'Father, glorify Your name.' Then a voice came out of heaven: 'I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.'
28父阿，願你榮耀你的名！當時就有聲音從天上來，說：我已經榮耀了我的名，還要再榮耀。
29So the crowd [of people] who stood by and heard it were saying that it had thundered; others were saying, 'An angel has spoken to Him.'
29站在旁邊的眾人聽見，就說：打雷了。還有人說：有天使對他說話。
30Jesus answered and said, 'This voice has not come for My sake, but for your sakes.
30耶穌說：這聲音不是為我，是為你們來的。
31'Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out.
31現在這世界受審判，這世界的王要被趕出去。
32'And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.'
32我若從地上被舉起來，就要吸引萬人來歸我。
33But He was saying this to indicate the kind of death by which He was to die.
33耶穌這話原是指著自己將要怎樣死說的。
34The crowd then answered Him, 'We have heard out of the Law that the Christ is to remain forever; and how can You say, 'The Son of Man must be lifted up'? Who is this Son of Man?'
34眾人回答說：我們聽見律法上有話說，基督是永存的，你怎麼說人子必須被舉起來呢？這人子是誰呢？
35So Jesus said to them, 'For a little while longer the Light is among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you; he who walks in the darkness does not know where he goes.
35耶穌對他們說：光在你們中間還有不多的時候，應當趁著有光行走，免得黑暗臨到你們；那在黑暗裡行走的，不知道往何處去。
36'While you have the Light, believe in the Light, so that you may become sons of Light.' These things Jesus spoke, and He went away and hid Himself from them.
36你們應當趁著有光，信從這光，使你們成為光明之子。耶穌說了這話，就離開隱藏了。
37But though He had performed so many signs before them, [yet] they were not believing in Him.
37他雖然在他們面前行了許多神蹟，他們還是不信他。
38[This was] to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet which he spoke: 'LORD, WHO HAS BELIEVED OUR REPORT? AND TO WHOM HAS THE ARM OF THE LORD BEEN REVEALED?'
38這是要應驗先知以賽亞的話，說：主阿，我們所傳的有誰信呢？主的膀臂向誰顯露呢？
39For this reason they could not believe, for Isaiah said again,
39他們所以不能信，因為以賽亞又說：
40'HE HAS BLINDED THEIR EYES AND HE HARDENED THEIR HEART, SO THAT THEY WOULD NOT SEE WITH THEIR EYES AND PERCEIVE WITH THEIR HEART, AND BE CONVERTED AND I HEAL THEM.'
40主叫他們瞎了眼，硬了心，免得他們眼睛看見，心裡明白，回轉過來，我就醫治他們。
41These things Isaiah said because he saw His glory, and he spoke of Him.
41以賽亞因為看見他的榮耀，就指著他說這話。
42Nevertheless many even of the rulers believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they were not confessing [Him], for fear that they would be put out of the synagogue;
42雖然如此，官長中卻有好些信他的，只因法利賽人的緣故，就不承認，恐怕被趕出會堂。
43for they loved the approval of men rather than the approval of God.
43這是因他們愛人的榮耀過於愛神的榮耀。
44And Jesus cried out and said, 'He who believes in Me, does not believe in Me but in Him who sent Me.
44耶穌大聲說：信我的，不是信我，乃是信那差我來的。
45'He who sees Me sees the One who sent Me.
45人看見我，就是看見那差我來的。
46'I have come [as] Light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me will not remain in darkness.
46我到世上來，乃是光，叫凡信我的，不住在黑暗裡。
47'If anyone hears My sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world.
47若有人聽見我的話不遵守，我不審判他。我來本不是要審判世界，乃是要拯救世界。
48'He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day.
48棄絕我、不領受我話的人，有審判他的─就是我所講的道在末日要審判他。
49'For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment [as to] what to say and what to speak.
49因為我沒有憑著自己講，惟有差我來的父已經給我命令，叫我說甚麼，講甚麼。
50'I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.'
50我也知道他的命令就是永生。故此，我所講的話正是照著父對我所說的。
