1'At that time,' declares the LORD, 'they will bring out the bones of the kings of Judah and the bones of its princes, and the bones of the priests and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem from their graves.
1耶和華說：到那時，人必將猶大王的骸骨和他首領的骸骨、祭司的骸骨、先知的骸骨，並耶路撒冷居民的骸骨，都從墳墓中取出來，
2'They will spread them out to the sun, the moon and to all the host of heaven, which they have loved and which they have served, and which they have gone after and which they have sought, and which they have worshiped. They will not be gathered or buried; they will be as dung on the face of the ground.
2拋散在日頭、月亮，和天上眾星之下，就是他們從前所喜愛、所事奉、所隨從、所求問、所敬拜的。這些骸骨不再收殮，不再葬埋，必在地面上成為糞土；
3'And death will be chosen rather than life by all the remnant that remains of this evil family, that remains in all the places to which I have driven them,' declares the LORD of hosts.
3並且這惡族所剩下的民在我所趕他們到的各處，寧可揀死不揀生。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。
4'You shall say to them, 'Thus says the LORD, 'Do [men] fall and not get up again? Does one turn away and not repent?
4你要對他們說，耶和華如此說：人跌倒，不再起來麼？人轉去，不再轉來麼？
5'Why then has this people, Jerusalem, Turned away in continual apostasy? They hold fast to deceit, They refuse to return.
5這耶路撒冷的民，為何恆久背道呢？他們守定詭詐，不肯回頭。
6'I have listened and heard, They have spoken what is not right; No man repented of his wickedness, Saying, 'What have I done?' Everyone turned to his course, Like a horse charging into the battle.
6我留心聽，聽見他們說不正直的話。無人悔改惡行，說：我做的是甚麼呢？他們各人轉奔己路，如馬直闖戰場。
7'Even the stork in the sky Knows her seasons; And the turtledove and the swift and the thrush Observe the time of their migration; But My people do not know The ordinance of the LORD.
7空中的鸛鳥知道來去的定期；斑鳩燕子與白鶴也守候當來的時令；我的百姓卻不知道耶和華的法則。
8'How can you say, 'We are wise, And the law of the LORD is with us'? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes Has made [it] into a lie.
8你們怎麼說：我們有智慧，耶和華的律法在我們這裡？看哪，文士的假筆舞弄虛假。
9'The wise men are put to shame, They are dismayed and caught; Behold, they have rejected the word of the LORD, And what kind of wisdom do they have?
9智慧人慚愧，驚惶，被擒拿；他們棄掉耶和華的話，心裡還有甚麼智慧呢？
10'Therefore I will give their wives to others, Their fields to new owners; Because from the least even to the greatest Everyone is greedy for gain; From the prophet even to the priest Everyone practices deceit.
10所以我必將他們的妻子給別人，將他們的田地給別人為業；因為他們從最小的到至大的都一味地貪婪，從先知到祭司都行事虛謊。
11'They heal the brokenness of the daughter of My people superficially, Saying, 'Peace, peace,' But there is no peace.
11他們輕輕忽忽地醫治我百姓的損傷，說：平安了！平安了！其實沒有平安。
12'Were they ashamed because of the abomination they had done? They certainly were not ashamed, And they did not know how to blush; Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; At the time of their punishment they shall be brought down,' Says the LORD.
12他們行可憎的事知道慚愧麼？不然，他們毫不慚愧，也不知羞恥。因此他們必在仆倒的人中仆倒；我向他們討罪的時候，他們必致跌倒。這是耶和華說的。
13'I will surely snatch them away,' declares the LORD; 'There will be no grapes on the vine And no figs on the fig tree, And the leaf will wither; And what I have given them will pass away.'''
13耶和華說：我必使他們全然滅絕；葡萄樹上必沒有葡萄，無花果樹上必沒有果子，葉子也必枯乾。我所賜給他們的，必離開他們過去。
14Why are we sitting still? Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the fortified cities And let us perish there, Because the LORD our God has doomed us And given us poisoned water to drink, For we have sinned against the LORD.
14我們為何靜坐不動呢？我們當聚集，進入堅固城，在那裡靜默不言；因為耶和華─我們的神使我們靜默不言，又將苦膽水給我們喝，都因我們得罪了耶和華。
15[We] waited for peace, but no good [came]; For a time of healing, but behold, terror!
15我們指望平安，卻得不著好處；指望痊愈的時候，不料，受了驚惶。
16From Dan is heard the snorting of his horses; At the sound of the neighing of his stallions The whole land quakes; For they come and devour the land and its fullness, The city and its inhabitants.
16聽見從但那裡敵人的馬噴鼻氣，他的壯馬發嘶聲，全地就都震動；因為他們來吞滅這地和其上所有的，吞滅這城與其中的居民。
17'For behold, I am sending serpents against you, Adders, for which there is no charm, And they will bite you,' declares the LORD.
17看哪，我必使毒蛇到你們中間，是不服法術的，必咬你們。這是耶和華說的。
18My sorrow is beyond healing, My heart is faint [within me]!
18我有憂愁，願能自慰；我心在我裡面發昏。
19Behold, listen! The cry of the daughter of my people from a distant land: 'Is the LORD not in Zion? Is her King not within her?' 'Why have they provoked Me with their graven images, with foreign idols?'
19聽啊，是我百姓的哀聲從極遠之地而來，說：耶和華不在錫安麼？錫安的王不在其中麼？耶和華說：他們為甚麼以雕刻的偶像和外邦虛無的神惹我發怒呢？
20'Harvest is past, summer is ended, And we are not saved.'
20麥秋已過，夏令已完，我們還未得救！
21For the brokenness of the daughter of my people I am broken; I mourn, dismay has taken hold of me.
21先知說：因我百姓的損傷，我也受了損傷。我哀痛，驚惶將我抓住。
22Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then has not the health of the daughter of my people been restored?
22在基列豈沒有乳香呢？在那著豈沒有醫生呢？我百姓為何不得痊愈呢？
