1'Flee for safety, O sons of Benjamin, From the midst of Jerusalem! Now blow a trumpet in Tekoa And raise a signal over Beth-haccerem; For evil looks down from the north, And a great destruction.
1便雅憫人哪，你們要逃出耶路撒冷，在提哥亞吹角，在伯哈基琳立號旗；因為有災禍與大毀滅從北方張望。
2'The comely and dainty one, the daughter of Zion, I will cut off.
2那秀美嬌嫩的錫安女子（就是指民的意思），我必剪除。
3'Shepherds and their flocks will come to her, They will pitch [their] tents around her, They will pasture each in his place.
3牧人必引他們的羊群到他那著，在他周圍支搭帳棚，各在自己所佔之地使羊吃草。
4'Prepare war against her; Arise, and let us attack at noon. Woe to us, for the day declines, For the shadows of the evening lengthen!
4你們要準備攻擊他。起來罷，我們可以趁午時上去。哀哉！日已漸斜，晚影拖長了。
5'Arise, and let us attack by night And destroy her palaces!'
5起來罷，我們夜間上去，毀壞他的宮殿。
6For thus says the LORD of hosts, 'Cut down her trees And cast up a siege against Jerusalem. This is the city to be punished, In whose midst there is only oppression.
6因為萬軍之耶和華如此說：你們要砍伐樹木，築壘攻打耶路撒冷。這就是那該罰的城，其中盡是欺壓。
7'As a well keeps its waters fresh, So she keeps fresh her wickedness. Violence and destruction are heard in her; Sickness and wounds are ever before Me.
7井怎樣湧出水來，這城也照樣湧出惡來；在其間常聽見有強暴毀滅的事，病患損傷也常在我面前。
8'Be warned, O Jerusalem, Or I shall be alienated from you, And make you a desolation, A land not inhabited.'
8耶路撒冷啊，你當受教，免得我心與你生疏，免得我使你荒涼，成為無人居住之地。
9Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'They will thoroughly glean as the vine the remnant of Israel; Pass your hand again like a grape gatherer Over the branches.'
9萬軍之耶和華曾如此說：敵人必擄盡以色列剩下的民，如同摘淨葡萄一樣。你要像摘葡萄的人摘了又摘，回手放在筐子裡。
10To whom shall I speak and give warning That they may hear? Behold, their ears are closed And they cannot listen. Behold, the word of the LORD has become a reproach to them; They have no delight in it.
10現在我可以向誰說話作見證，使他們聽呢？他們的耳朵未受割禮，不能聽見。看哪，耶和華的話他們以為羞辱，不以為喜悅。
11But I am full of the wrath of the LORD; I am weary with holding [it] in. 'Pour [it] out on the children in the street And on the gathering of young men together; For both husband and wife shall be taken, The aged and the very old.
11因此我被耶和華的忿怒充滿，難以含忍。我要傾在街中的孩童和聚會的少年人身上，連夫帶妻，並年老的與日子滿足的都必被擒拿。
12'Their houses shall be turned over to others, Their fields and their wives together; For I will stretch out My hand Against the inhabitants of the land,' declares the LORD.
12他們的房屋、田地，和妻子都必轉歸別人；我要伸手攻擊這地的居民。這是耶和華說的。
13'For from the least of them even to the greatest of them, Everyone is greedy for gain, And from the prophet even to the priest Everyone deals falsely.
13因為他們從最小的到至大的都一味地貪婪，從先知到祭司都行事虛謊。
14'They have healed the brokenness of My people superficially, Saying, 'Peace, peace,' But there is no peace.
14他們輕輕忽忽地醫治我百姓的損傷，說：平安了！平安了！其實沒有平安。
15'Were they ashamed because of the abomination they have done? They were not even ashamed at all; They did not even know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; At the time that I punish them, They shall be cast down,' says the LORD.
15他們行可憎的事知道慚愧麼？不然，他們毫不慚愧，也不知羞恥。因此，他們必在仆倒的人中仆倒；我向他們討罪的時候，他們必致跌倒。這是耶和華說的。
16Thus says the LORD, 'Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths, Where the good way is, and walk in it; And you will find rest for your souls. But they said, 'We will not walk [in it].'
16耶和華如此說：你們當站在路上察看，訪問古道，哪是善道，便行在其間；這樣，你們心裡必得安息。他們卻說：我們不行在其間。
17'And I set watchmen over you, [saying], 'Listen to the sound of the trumpet!' But they said, 'We will not listen.'
17我設立守望的人照管你們，說：要聽角聲。他們卻說：我們不聽。
18'Therefore hear, O nations, And know, O congregation, what is among them.
18列國啊，因此你們當聽！會眾啊，要知道他們必遭遇的事。
19'Hear, O earth: behold, I am bringing disaster on this people, The fruit of their plans, Because they have not listened to My words, And as for My law, they have rejected it also.
19地啊，當聽！我必使災禍臨到這百姓，就是他們意念所結的果子；因為他們不聽從我的言語，至於我的訓誨（或譯：律法），他們也厭棄了。
20'For what purpose does frankincense come to Me from Sheba And the sweet cane from a distant land? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable And your sacrifices are not pleasing to Me.'
20從示巴出的乳香，從遠方出的菖蒲（或譯：甘蔗）奉來給我有何益呢？你們的燔祭不蒙悅納；你們的平安祭，我也不喜悅。
21Therefore, thus says the LORD, 'Behold, I am laying stumbling blocks before this people. And they will stumble against them, Fathers and sons together; Neighbor and friend will perish.'
21所以耶和華如此說：我要將絆腳石放在這百姓前面。父親和兒子要一同跌在其上；鄰舍與朋友也都滅亡。
22Thus says the LORD, 'Behold, a people is coming from the north land, And a great nation will be aroused from the remote parts of the earth.
22耶和華如此說：看哪，有一種民從北方而來，並有一大國被激動，從地極來到。
23'They seize bow and spear; They are cruel and have no mercy; Their voice roars like the sea, And they ride on horses, Arrayed as a man for the battle Against you, O daughter of Zion!'
23他們拿弓和槍，性情殘忍，不施憐憫；他們的聲音像海浪匉訇。錫安城（原文是女子）啊，他們騎馬都擺隊伍，如上戰場的人要攻擊你。
24We have heard the report of it; Our hands are limp. Anguish has seized us, Pain as of a woman in childbirth.
24我們聽見他們的風聲，手就發軟；痛苦將我們抓住，疼痛彷彿產難的婦人。
25Do not go out into the field And do not walk on the road, For the enemy has a sword, Terror is on every side.
25你們不要往田野去，也不要行在路上，因四圍有仇敵的刀劍和驚嚇。
26O daughter of my people, put on sackcloth And roll in ashes; Mourn as for an only son, A lamentation most bitter. For suddenly the destroyer Will come upon us.
26我民（原文是民女）哪，應當腰束麻布，滾在灰中。你要悲傷，如喪獨生子痛痛哭號，因為滅命的要忽然臨到我們。
27'I have made you an assayer [and] a tester among My people, That you may know and assay their way.'
27我使你在我民中為高臺（或譯：試驗人的），為保障，使你知道試驗他們的行動。
28All of them are stubbornly rebellious, Going about as a talebearer. [They are] bronze and iron; They, all of them, are corrupt.
28他們都是極悖逆的，往來讒謗人。他們是銅是鐵，都行壞事。
29The bellows blow fiercely, The lead is consumed by the fire; In vain the refining goes on, But the wicked are not separated.
29風箱吹火，鉛被燒燬；他們煉而又煉，終是徒然；因為惡劣的還未除掉。
30They call them rejected silver, Because the LORD has rejected them.
30人必稱他們為被棄的銀渣，因為耶和華已經棄掉他們。
