59Now these are those who came up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addan [and] Immer, but they were not able to give evidence of their fathers' households and their descendants, whether they were of Israel:

61Of the sons of the priests: the sons of Habaiah, the sons of Hakkoz, the sons of Barzillai, who took a wife from the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and he was called by their name.
61祭司中，哈巴雅的子孫、哈哥斯的子孫、巴西萊的子孫；因為他們的先祖娶了基列人巴西萊的女兒為妻，所以起名叫巴西萊。
62These searched [among] their ancestral registration, but they could not be located; therefore they were considered unclean [and excluded] from the priesthood.
62這三家的人在族譜之中尋查自己的譜系，卻尋不著，因此算為不潔，不准供祭司的職任。
63The governor said to them that they should not eat from the most holy things until a priest stood up with Urim and Thummim.

65besides their male and female servants who numbered 7,337; and they had 200 singing men and women.

66Their horses were 736; their mules, 245;

69According to their ability they gave to the treasury for the work 61,000 gold drachmas and 5,000 silver minas and 100 priestly garments.
69他們量力捐入工程庫的金子六萬一千達利克，銀子五千彌拿，並祭司的禮服一百件。
70Now the priests and the Levites, some of the people, the singers, the gatekeepers and the temple servants lived in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
70於是祭司、利未人、民中的一些人、歌唱的、守門的、尼提寧，並以色列眾人，各住在自己的城裡。
