1Now it came about at the end of the twenty years in which Solomon had built the house of the LORD and his own house
1所羅門建造耶和華殿和王宮，二十年才完畢了。
2that he built the cities which Huram had given to him, and settled the sons of Israel there.
2以後所羅門重新修築希蘭送給他的那些城邑，使以色列人住在那裡。
3Then Solomon went to Hamath-zobah and captured it.
3所羅門往哈馬瑣巴去，攻取了那地方。
4He built Tadmor in the wilderness and all the storage cities which he had built in Hamath.
4所羅門建造曠野裡的達莫，又建造哈馬所有的積貨城，
5He also built upper Beth-horon and lower Beth-horon, fortified cities [with] walls, gates and bars;
5又建造上伯和崙、下伯和崙作為保障，都有牆，有門，有閂；
6and Baalath and all the storage cities that Solomon had, and all the cities for his chariots and cities for his horsemen, and all that it pleased Solomon to build in Jerusalem, in Lebanon, and in all the land under his rule.
6又建造巴拉和所有的積貨城，並屯車輛馬兵的城，與耶路撒冷、利巴嫩，以及自己治理的全國中所願意建造的。
7All of the people who were left of the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites, who were not of Israel,
7至於國中所剩下不屬以色列人的赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，
8[namely], from their descendants who were left after them in the land whom the sons of Israel had not destroyed, them Solomon raised as forced laborers to this day.
8就是以色列人未曾滅絕的，所羅門挑取他們的後裔作服苦的奴僕，直到今日。
9But Solomon did not make slaves for his work from the sons of Israel; they were men of war, his chief captains and commanders of his chariots and his horsemen.
9惟有以色列人，所羅門不使他們當奴僕做工，乃是作他的戰士、軍長的統領、車兵長、馬兵長。
10These were the chief officers of King Solomon, two hundred and fifty who ruled over the people.
10所羅門王有二百五十督工的，監管工人。
11Then Solomon brought Pharaoh's daughter up from the city of David to the house which he had built for her, for he said, 'My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places are holy where the ark of the LORD has entered.'
11所羅門將法老的女兒帶出大衛城，上到為他建造的宮裡；因所羅門說：耶和華約櫃所到之處都為聖地，所以我的妻不可住在以色列王大衛的宮裡。
12Then Solomon offered burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of the LORD which he had built before the porch;
12所羅門在耶和華的壇上，就是在廊子前他所築的壇上，與耶和華獻燔祭；
13and [did so] according to the daily rule, offering [them] up according to the commandment of Moses, for the sabbaths, the new moons and the three annual feasts-- the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks and the Feast of Booths.
13又遵著摩西的吩咐在安息日、月朔，並一年三節，就是除酵節、七七節、住棚節，獻每日所當獻的祭。
14Now according to the ordinance of his father David, he appointed the divisions of the priests for their service, and the Levites for their duties of praise and ministering before the priests according to the daily rule, and the gatekeepers by their divisions at every gate; for David the man of God had so commanded.
14所羅門照著他父大衛所定的例，派定祭司的班次，使他們各供己事，又使利未人各盡其職，讚美耶和華，在祭司面前做每日所當做的；又派守門的按著班次看守各門，因為神人大衛是這樣吩咐的。
15And they did not depart from the commandment of the king to the priests and Levites in any manner or concerning the storehouses.
15王所吩咐眾祭司和利未人的，無論是管府庫或辦別的事，他們都不違背。
16Thus all the work of Solomon was carried out from the day of the foundation of the house of the LORD, and until it was finished. So the house of the LORD was completed.
16所羅門建造耶和華的殿，從立根基直到成功的日子，工料俱備。這樣，耶和華的殿全然完畢。
17Then Solomon went to Ezion-geber and to Eloth on the seashore in the land of Edom.
17那時，所羅門往以東地靠海的以旬迦別和以祿去。
18And Huram by his servants sent him ships and servants who knew the sea; and they went with Solomon's servants to Ophir, and took from there four hundred and fifty talents of gold and brought them to King Solomon.
18希蘭差遣他的臣僕，將船隻和熟悉泛海的僕人送到所羅門那裡。他們同著所羅門的僕人到了俄斐，得了四百五十他連得金子，運到所羅門王那裡。
