1Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where [the LORD] had appeared to his father David, at the place that David had prepared on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
1所羅門就在耶路撒冷、耶和華向他父大衛顯現的摩利亞山上，就是耶布斯人阿珥楠的禾場上、大衛所指定的地方預備好了，開工建造耶和華的殿。
2He began to build on the second [day] in the second month of the fourth year of his reign.
2所羅門作王第四年二月初二日開工建造。
3Now these are the foundations which Solomon laid for building the house of God. The length in cubits, according to the old standard [was] sixty cubits, and the width twenty cubits.
3所羅門建築神殿的根基，乃是這樣：長六十肘，寬二十肘，都按著古時的尺寸。
4The porch which was in front of the house was as long as the width of the house, twenty cubits, and the height 120; and inside he overlaid it with pure gold.
4殿前的廊子長二十肘，與殿的寬窄一樣，高一百二十肘；裡面貼上精金。
5He overlaid the main room with cypress wood and overlaid it with fine gold, and ornamented it with palm trees and chains.
5大殿的牆都用松木板遮蔽，又貼了精金，上面雕刻棕樹和鍊子；
6Further, he adorned the house with precious stones; and the gold was gold from Parvaim.
6又用寶石裝飾殿牆，使殿華美；所用的金子都是巴瓦音的金子。
7He also overlaid the house with gold-- the beams, the thresholds and its walls and its doors; and he carved cherubim on the walls.
7又用金子貼殿和殿的棟梁、門檻、牆壁、門扇；牆上雕刻基路伯。
8Now he made the room of the holy of holies: its length across the width of the house [was] twenty cubits, and its width [was] twenty cubits; and he overlaid it with fine gold, [amounting] to 600 talents.
8又建造至聖所，長二十肘，與殿的寬窄一樣，寬也是二十肘；貼上精金，共用金子六百他連得。
9The weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. He also overlaid the upper rooms with gold.
9金釘重五十舍客勒。樓房都貼上金子。
10Then he made two sculptured cherubim in the room of the holy of holies and overlaid them with gold.
10在至聖所按造像的法子造兩個基路伯，用金子包裹。
11The wingspan of the cherubim [was] twenty cubits; the wing of one, of five cubits, touched the wall of the house, and [its] other wing, of five cubits, touched the wing of the other cherub.
11兩個基路伯的翅膀共長二十肘。這基路伯的一個翅膀長五肘，挨著殿這邊的牆；那一個翅膀也長五肘，與那基路伯翅膀相接。
12The wing of the other cherub, of five cubits, touched the wall of the house; and [its] other wing of five cubits was attached to the wing of the first cherub.
12那基路伯的一個翅膀長五肘，挨著殿那邊的牆；那一個翅膀也長五肘，與這基路伯的翅膀相接。
13The wings of these cherubim extended twenty cubits, and they stood on their feet facing the [main] room.
13兩個基路伯張開翅膀，共長二十肘，面向外殿而立。
14He made the veil of violet, purple, crimson and fine linen, and he worked cherubim on it.
14又用藍色、紫色、朱紅色線和細麻織幔子，在其上繡出基路伯來。
15He also made two pillars for the front of the house, thirty-five cubits high, and the capital on the top of each [was] five cubits.
15在殿前造了兩根柱子，高三十五肘；每柱頂高五肘。
16He made chains in the inner sanctuary and placed [them] on the tops of the pillars; and he made one hundred pomegranates and placed [them] on the chains.
16又照聖所內鍊子的樣式做鍊子，安在柱頂上；又做一百石榴，安在鍊子上。
17He erected the pillars in front of the temple, one on the right and the other on the left, and named the one on the right Jachin and the one on the left Boaz.
17將兩根柱子立在殿前，一根在右邊，一根在左邊；右邊的起名叫雅斤，左邊的起名叫波阿斯。
