1O LORD, God of vengeance, God of vengeance, shine forth!
1耶和華啊，你是伸冤的神；伸冤的神啊，求你發出光來！
2Rise up, O Judge of the earth, Render recompense to the proud.
2審判世界的主啊，求你挺身而立，使驕傲人受應得的報應！
3How long shall the wicked, O LORD, How long shall the wicked exult?
3耶和華啊，惡人誇勝要到幾時呢？要到幾時呢？
4They pour forth [words], they speak arrogantly; All who do wickedness vaunt themselves.
4他們絮絮叨叨說傲慢的話；一切作孽的人都自己誇張。
5They crush Your people, O LORD, And afflict Your heritage.
5耶和華啊，他們強壓你的百姓，苦害你的產業。
6They slay the widow and the stranger And murder the orphans.
6他們殺死寡婦和寄居的，又殺害孤兒。
7They have said, 'The LORD does not see, Nor does the God of Jacob pay heed.'
7他們說：耶和華必不看見；雅各的神必不思念。
8Pay heed, you senseless among the people; And when will you understand, stupid ones?
8你們民間的畜類人當思想；你們愚頑人到幾時才有智慧呢？
9He who planted the ear, does He not hear? He who formed the eye, does He not see?
9造耳朵的，難道自己不聽見麼？造眼睛的，難道自己不看見麼？
10He who chastens the nations, will He not rebuke, [Even] He who teaches man knowledge?
10管教列邦的，就是叫人得知識的，難道自己不懲治人麼？
11The LORD knows the thoughts of man, That they are a [mere] breath.
11耶和華知道人的意念是虛妄的。
12Blessed is the man whom You chasten, O LORD, And whom You teach out of Your law;
12耶和華啊，你所管教、用律法所教訓的人是有福的！
13That You may grant him relief from the days of adversity, Until a pit is dug for the wicked.
13你使他在遭難的日子得享平安；惟有惡人陷在所挖的坑中。
14For the LORD will not abandon His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance.
14因為耶和華必不丟棄他的百姓，也不離棄他的產業。
15For judgment will again be righteous, And all the upright in heart will follow it.
15審判要轉向公義；心裡正直的，必都隨從。
16Who will stand up for me against evildoers? Who will take his stand for me against those who do wickedness?
16誰肯為我起來攻擊作惡的？誰肯為我站起抵擋作孽的？
17If the LORD had not been my help, My soul would soon have dwelt in [the abode of] silence.
17若不是耶和華幫助我，我就住在寂靜之中了。
18If I should say, 'My foot has slipped,' Your lovingkindness, O LORD, will hold me up.
18我正說我失了腳，耶和華啊，那時你的慈愛扶助我。
19When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul.
19我心裡多憂多疑，你安慰我，就使我歡樂。
20Can a throne of destruction be allied with You, One which devises mischief by decree?
20那藉著律例架弄殘害、在位上行奸惡的，豈能與你相交麼？
21They band themselves together against the life of the righteous And condemn the innocent to death.
21他們大家聚集攻擊義人，將無辜的人定為死罪。
22But the LORD has been my stronghold, And my God the rock of my refuge.
22但耶和華向來作了我的高臺；我的神作了我投靠的磐石。
23He has brought back their wickedness upon them And will destroy them in their evil; The LORD our God will destroy them.
23他叫他們的罪孽歸到他們身上。他們正在行惡之中，他要剪除他們；耶和華─我們的神要把他們剪除。
