1For the choir director; [set to] Al-tashheth. A Mikhtam of David, when Saul sent [men] and they watched the house in order to kill him. Deliver me from my enemies, O my God; Set me [securely] on high away from those who rise up against me.
1（掃羅打發人窺探大衛的房屋，要殺他。那時，大衛用這金詩，交與伶長。調用休要毀壞。）我的神啊，求你救我脫離仇敵，把我安置在高處，得脫那些起來攻擊我的人。
2Deliver me from those who do iniquity And save me from men of bloodshed.
2求你救我脫離作孽的人和喜愛流人血的人！
3For behold, they have set an ambush for my life; Fierce men launch an attack against me, Not for my transgression nor for my sin, O LORD,
3因為，他們埋伏要害我的命；有能力的人聚集來攻擊我。耶和華啊，這不是為我的過犯，也不是為我的罪愆。
4For no guilt of [mine], they run and set themselves against me. Arouse Yourself to help me, and see!
4我雖然無過，他們預備整齊，跑來攻擊我。求你興起鑒察，幫助我！
5You, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, Awake to punish all the nations; Do not be gracious to any [who are] treacherous in iniquity. Selah.
5萬軍之神─耶和華以色列的 神啊！求你興起，懲治萬邦！不要憐憫行詭詐的惡人！（細拉）
6They return at evening, they howl like a dog, And go around the city.
6他們晚上轉回，叫號如狗，圍城繞行。
7Behold, they belch forth with their mouth; Swords are in their lips, For, [they say], 'Who hears?'
7他們口中噴吐惡言，嘴裡有刀；他們說：有誰聽見？
8But You, O LORD, laugh at them; You scoff at all the nations.
8但你─耶和華必笑話他們；你要嗤笑萬邦。
9[Because of] his strength I will watch for You, For God is my stronghold.
9我的力量啊，我必仰望你，因為神是我的高臺。
10My God in His lovingkindness will meet me; God will let me look [triumphantly] upon my foes.
10我的神要以慈愛迎接我； 神要叫我看見我仇敵遭報。
11Do not slay them, or my people will forget; Scatter them by Your power, and bring them down, O Lord, our shield.
11不要殺他們，恐怕我的民忘記。主啊，你是我們的盾牌；求你用你的能力使他們四散，且降為卑。
12[On account of] the sin of their mouth [and] the words of their lips, Let them even be caught in their pride, And on account of curses and lies which they utter.
12他們口中的罪和嘴裡的言語，並咒罵虛謊的話，願他們在驕傲之中被纏住了。
13Destroy [them] in wrath, destroy [them] that they may be no more; That [men] may know that God rules in Jacob To the ends of the earth. Selah.
13求你發怒，使他們消滅，以致歸於無有，叫他們知道神在雅各中間掌權，直到地極。（細拉）
14They return at evening, they howl like a dog, And go around the city.
14到了晚上，任憑他們轉回；任憑他們叫號如狗，圍城繞行。
15They wander about for food And growl if they are not satisfied.
15他們必走來走去，尋找食物，若不得飽就終夜在外。
16But as for me, I shall sing of Your strength; Yes, I shall joyfully sing of Your lovingkindness in the morning, For You have been my stronghold And a refuge in the day of my distress.
16但我要歌頌你的力量，早晨要高唱你的慈愛；因為你作過我的高臺，在我急難的日子作過我的避難所。
17O my strength, I will sing praises to You; For God is my stronghold, the God who shows me lovingkindness.
17我的力量啊，我要歌頌你；因為神是我的高臺，是賜恩與我的 神。
