1I am the man who has seen affliction Because of the rod of His wrath.
1我是因耶和華忿怒的杖，遭遇困苦的人。
2He has driven me and made me walk In darkness and not in light.
2他引導我，使我行在黑暗中，不行在光明裡。
3Surely against me He has turned His hand Repeatedly all the day.
3他真是終日再三反手攻擊我。
4He has caused my flesh and my skin to waste away, He has broken my bones.
4他使我的皮肉枯乾；他折斷（或譯：壓傷）我的骨頭。
5He has besieged and encompassed me with bitterness and hardship.
5他築壘攻擊我，用苦楚（原文是苦膽）和艱難圍困我。
6In dark places He has made me dwell, Like those who have long been dead.
6他使我住在幽暗之處，像死了許久的人一樣。
7He has walled me in so that I cannot go out; He has made my chain heavy.
7他用籬笆圍住我，使我不能出去；他使我的銅鍊沉重。
8Even when I cry out and call for help, He shuts out my prayer.
8我哀號求救；他使我的禱告不得上達。
9He has blocked my ways with hewn stone; He has made my paths crooked.
9他用鑿過的石頭擋住我的道；他使我的路彎曲。
10He is to me like a bear lying in wait, [Like] a lion in secret places.
10他向我如熊埋伏，如獅子在隱密處。
11He has turned aside my ways and torn me to pieces; He has made me desolate.
11他使我轉離正路，將我撕碎，使我淒涼。
12He bent His bow And set me as a target for the arrow.
12他張弓將我當作箭靶子。
13He made the arrows of His quiver To enter into my inward parts.
13他把箭袋中的箭射入我的肺腑。
14I have become a laughingstock to all my people, Their [mocking] song all the day.
14我成了眾民的笑話；他們終日以我為歌曲。
15He has filled me with bitterness, He has made me drunk with wormwood.
15他用苦楚充滿我，使我飽用茵蔯。
16He has broken my teeth with gravel; He has made me cower in the dust.
16他又用沙石磣斷我的牙，用灰塵將我蒙蔽。
17My soul has been rejected from peace; I have forgotten happiness.
17你使我遠離平安，我忘記好處。
18So I say, 'My strength has perished, And [so has] my hope from the LORD.'
18我就說：我的力量衰敗；我在耶和華那裡毫無指望！
19Remember my affliction and my wandering, the wormwood and bitterness.
19耶和華啊，求你記念我如茵蔯和苦膽的困苦窘迫。
20Surely my soul remembers And is bowed down within me.
20我心想念這些，就在裡面憂悶。
21This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope.
21我想起這事，心裡就有指望。
22The LORD'S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail.
22我們不致消滅，是出於耶和華諸般的慈愛；是因他的憐憫不致斷絕。
23[They] are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.
23每早晨，這都是新的；你的誠實極其廣大！
24'The LORD is my portion,' says my soul, 'Therefore I have hope in Him.'
24我心裡說：耶和華是我的分，因此，我要仰望他。
25The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the person who seeks Him.
25凡等候耶和華，心裡尋求他的，耶和華必施恩給他。
26[It is] good that he waits silently For the salvation of the LORD.
26人仰望耶和華，靜默等候他的救恩，這原是好的。
27[It is] good for a man that he should bear The yoke in his youth.
27人在幼年負軛，這原是好的。
28Let him sit alone and be silent Since He has laid [it] on him.
28他當獨坐無言，因為這是耶和華加在他身上的。
29Let him put his mouth in the dust, Perhaps there is hope.
29他當口貼塵埃，或者有指望。
30Let him give his cheek to the smiter, Let him be filled with reproach.
30他當由人打他的腮頰，要滿受凌辱。
31For the Lord will not reject forever,
31因為主必不永遠丟棄人。
32For if He causes grief, Then He will have compassion According to His abundant lovingkindness.
32主雖使人憂愁，還要照他諸般的慈愛發憐憫。
33For He does not afflict willingly Or grieve the sons of men.
33因他並不甘心使人受苦，使人憂愁。
34To crush under His feet All the prisoners of the land,
34人將世上被囚的踹（原文是壓）在腳下，
35To deprive a man of justice In the presence of the Most High,
35或在至高者面前屈枉人，
36To defraud a man in his lawsuit-- Of these things the Lord does not approve.
36或在人的訟事上顛倒是非，這都是主看不上的。
37Who is there who speaks and it comes to pass, Unless the Lord has commanded [it]?
37除非主命定，誰能說成就成呢？
38[Is it] not from the mouth of the Most High That both good and ill go forth?
38禍福不都出於至高者的口嗎？
39Why should [any] living mortal, or [any] man, Offer complaint in view of his sins?
39活人因自己的罪受罰，為何發怨言呢？
40Let us examine and probe our ways, And let us return to the LORD.
40我們當深深考察自己的行為，再歸向耶和華。
41We lift up our heart and hands Toward God in heaven;
41我們當誠心向天上的神舉手禱告。
42We have transgressed and rebelled, You have not pardoned.
42我們犯罪背逆，你並不赦免。
43You have covered [Yourself] with anger And pursued us; You have slain [and] have not spared.
43你自被怒氣遮蔽，追趕我們；你施行殺戮，並不顧惜。
44You have covered Yourself with a cloud So that no prayer can pass through.
44你以黑雲遮蔽自己，以致禱告不得透入。
45[You have made us mere] offscouring and refuse In the midst of the peoples.
45你使我們在萬民中成為污穢和渣滓。
46All our enemies have opened their mouths against us.
46我們的仇敵都向我們大大張口。
47Panic and pitfall have befallen us, Devastation and destruction;
47恐懼和陷坑，殘害和毀滅，都臨近我們。
48My eyes run down with streams of water Because of the destruction of the daughter of my people.
48因我眾民遭的毀滅，我就眼淚下流如河。
49My eyes pour down unceasingly, Without stopping,
49我的眼多多流淚，總不止息，
50Until the LORD looks down And sees from heaven.
50直等耶和華垂顧，從天觀看。
51My eyes bring pain to my soul Because of all the daughters of my city.
51因我本城的眾民，我的眼，使我的心傷痛。
52My enemies without cause Hunted me down like a bird;
52無故與我為仇的追逼我，像追雀鳥一樣。
53They have silenced me in the pit And have placed a stone on me.
53他們使我的命在牢獄中斷絕，並將一塊石頭拋在我身上。
54Waters flowed over my head; I said, 'I am cut off!'
54眾水流過我頭，我說：我命斷絕了！
55I called on Your name, O LORD, Out of the lowest pit.
55耶和華啊，我從深牢中求告你的名。
56You have heard my voice, 'Do not hide Your ear from my [prayer for] relief, From my cry for help.'
56你曾聽見我的聲音；我求你解救，你不要掩耳不聽。
57You drew near when I called on You; You said, 'Do not fear!'
57我求告你的日子，你臨近我，說：不要懼怕！
58O Lord, You have pleaded my soul's cause; You have redeemed my life.
58主啊，你伸明了我的冤；你救贖了我的命。
59O LORD, You have seen my oppression; Judge my case.
59耶和華啊，你見了我受的委屈；求你為我伸冤。
60You have seen all their vengeance, All their schemes against me.
60他們仇恨我，謀害我，你都看見了。
61You have heard their reproach, O LORD, All their schemes against me.
61耶和華啊，你聽見他們辱罵我的話，知道他們向我所設的計，
62The lips of my assailants and their whispering [Are] against me all day long.
62並那些起來攻擊我的人口中所說的話，以及終日向我所設的計謀。
63Look on their sitting and their rising; I am their mocking song.
63求你觀看，他們坐下，起來，都以我為歌曲。
64You will recompense them, O LORD, According to the work of their hands.
64耶和華啊，你要按著他們手所做的向他們施行報應。
65You will give them hardness of heart, Your curse will be on them.
65你要使他們心裡剛硬，使你的咒詛臨到他們。
66You will pursue them in anger and destroy them From under the heavens of the LORD!
66你要發怒追趕他們，從耶和華的天下除滅他們。
