1Then the LORD said to Moses, 'Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh; for under compulsion he will let them go, and under compulsion he will drive them out of his land.'
1耶和華對摩西說：現在你必看見我向法老所行的事，使他因我大能的手容以色列人去，且把他們趕出他的地。
2God spoke further to Moses and said to him, 'I am the LORD;
2神曉諭摩西說：我是耶和華。
3and I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as God Almighty, but [by] My name, LORD, I did not make Myself known to them.
3我從前向亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各顯現為全能的神；至於我名耶和華，他們未曾知道。
4'I also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land in which they sojourned.
4我與他們堅定所立的約，要把他們寄居的迦南地賜給他們。
5'Furthermore I have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, because the Egyptians are holding them in bondage, and I have remembered My covenant.
5我也聽見以色列人被埃及人苦待的哀聲，我也記念我的約。
6'Say, therefore, to the sons of Israel, 'I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from their bondage. I will also redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.
6所以你要對以色列人說：我是耶和華；我要用伸出來的膀臂重重的刑罰埃及人，救贖你們脫離他們的重擔，不做他們的苦工。
7'Then I will take you for My people, and I will be your God; and you shall know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
7我要以你們為我的百姓，我也要作你們的神。你們要知道我是耶和華─你們的 神，是救你們脫離埃及人之重擔的。
8'I will bring you to the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and I will give it to you [for] a possession; I am the LORD.''
8我起誓應許給亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的那地，我要把你們領進去，將那地賜給你們為業。我是耶和華。
9So Moses spoke thus to the sons of Israel, but they did not listen to Moses on account of [their] despondency and cruel bondage.
9摩西將這話告訴以色列人，只是他們因苦工愁煩，不肯聽他的話。
10Now the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
10耶和華曉諭摩西說：
11'Go, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the sons of Israel go out of his land.'
11你進去對埃及王法老說，要容以色列人出他的地。
12But Moses spoke before the LORD, saying, 'Behold, the sons of Israel have not listened to me; how then will Pharaoh listen to me, for I am unskilled in speech?'
12摩西在耶和華面前說：以色列人尚且不聽我的話，法老怎肯聽我這拙口笨舌的人呢？
13Then the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and gave them a charge to the sons of Israel and to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt.
13耶和華吩咐摩西、亞倫往以色列人和埃及王法老那裡去，把以色列人從埃及地領出來。
14These are the heads of their fathers' households. The sons of Reuben, Israel's firstborn: Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi; these are the families of Reuben.
14以色列人家長的名字記在下面。以色列長子流便的兒子是哈諾、法路、希斯崙、迦米；這是流便的各家。
15The sons of Simeon: Jemuel and Jamin and Ohad and Jachin and Zohar and Shaul the son of a Canaanite woman; these are the families of Simeon.
15西緬的兒子是耶母利、雅憫、阿轄、雅斤、瑣轄，和迦南女子的兒子掃羅；這是西緬的各家。
16These are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations: Gershon and Kohath and Merari; and the length of Levi's life was one hundred and thirty-seven years.
16利未眾子的名字按著他們的後代記在下面：就是革順、哥轄、米拉利。利未一生的歲數是一百三十七歲。
17The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, according to their families.
17革順的兒子按著家室是立尼、示每。
18The sons of Kohath: Amram and Izhar and Hebron and Uzziel; and the length of Kohath's life was one hundred and thirty-three years.
18哥轄的兒子是暗蘭、以斯哈、希伯倫、烏薛。哥轄一生的歲數是一百三十三歲。
19The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their generations.
19米拉利的兒子是抹利和母示；這是利未的家，都按著他們的後代。
20Amram married his father's sister Jochebed, and she bore him Aaron and Moses; and the length of Amram's life was one hundred and thirty-seven years.
20暗蘭娶了他父親的妹妹約基別為妻，他給他生了亞倫和摩西。暗蘭一生的歲數是一百三十七歲。
21The sons of Izhar: Korah and Nepheg and Zichri.
21以斯哈的兒子是可拉、尼斐、細基利。
22The sons of Uzziel: Mishael and Elzaphan and Sithri.
22烏薛的兒子是米沙利、以利撒反、西提利。
23Aaron married Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
23亞倫娶了亞米拿達的女兒，拿順的妹妹，以利沙巴為妻，他給他生了拿答、亞比戶、以利亞撒、以他瑪。
24The sons of Korah: Assir and Elkanah and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites.
24可拉的兒子是亞惜、以利加拿、亞比亞撒；這是可拉的各家。
25Aaron's son Eleazar married one of the daughters of Putiel, and she bore him Phinehas. These are the heads of the fathers' [households] of the Levites according to their families.
25亞倫的兒子以利亞撒娶了普鐵的一個女兒為妻，他給他生了非尼哈。這是利未人的家長，都按著他們的家。
26It was [the same] Aaron and Moses to whom the LORD said, 'Bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their hosts.'
26耶和華說：將以色列人按著他們的軍隊從埃及地領出來。這是對那亞倫、摩西說的。
27They were the ones who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt about bringing out the sons of Israel from Egypt; it was [the same] Moses and Aaron.
27對埃及王法老說要將以色列人從埃及領出來的，就是這摩西、亞倫。
28Now it came about on the day when the LORD spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt,
28當耶和華在埃及地對摩西說話的日子，
29that the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 'I am the LORD; speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I speak to you.'
29他向摩西說：我是耶和華；我對你說的一切話，你都要告訴埃及王法老。
30But Moses said before the LORD, 'Behold, I am unskilled in speech; how then will Pharaoh listen to me?'
30摩西在耶和華面前說：看哪，我是拙口笨舌的人，法老怎肯聽我呢？
